Stop saying that game needs to be delayed before it's too late!

Because I’m not needlessly pessimistic/defeatist.

For them only these two are matter…Wich means:

  • No realistic shades,water,colors,metal textures
  • No 4 hours of Animated,wholesome cutscenes
  • No new Voice Acting
  • No new voice lines and dialogues
  • No WoW Canon
  • No better Storytelling

Basically, what we have at this moment…

We could potentially have more if they take more time to develop it.

More what? The purists are going to be pissed EVEN if there will be an option to choose…

I also think the people that want as few changes as possible have some mixed priorities because I haven’t heard much of a peep about the lack of a ladder. I’ve seen complaints about no real ranking or matchmaking in beta but nothing much past that.

Then what about the people who doesn’t want/care about multiplayer? What this 6 months are gonna give them?

Honest question. Are you being obtuse and roundabout on purpose?

These 6 months can change the Multiplayer, but not singleplayer…These forums proofs this

These forums are not the developers. Neither is say, Reddit or even the popular streamers or other content creators.

They can all be influential but they are not the ones making the game.

But they’re not Reddit - they’re on Beta Test forum and most of them wants this game to be Downgraded. they are the target audience of this game…

They are still not the developers.

For the developers it’s still more profitably to listen the 2/3 their audience, than listen to 1 and pissed of other 2

And if with more development time they manage to find a stronger, clearer compromise for every aspect of their fanbase or enough to please everyone?

They already announced the cuts. Meaning the only thing that would be worked on would be patches for Melee. Period. All of which doesn’t need a delay to patch.

I think not having an additional campaign that does not replace the old one and having a ladder on launch alongside whatever further touches the editor may need are all worth delaying for because they all touch different parts of the playerbase.

I do not. For one the additional campaign stuff is cut. The end. Ladder can easily be patched in later and it makes more sense to add ladder after launch anyway and not while in beta where some people are still having issues even playing. Any improvements to the editor can also be done later as well and I see no reason to delay for either melee or the editor.

I know that Reforged isn’t exactly a new, full entry in the series but given the bolder directions (in comparison to their previous project, Starcraft: Remastered) I would like to see them keep being bold and pushing the envelope rather than get scared out of having content for release.

Yeah. Me too, but unfortunately that ship has sailed. We are getting WC3 Remastered and that is it. Again no point in delaying it further when the stuff that would need that time has been cut and isn’t being done. Whether it is in fact due to purist demand or Blizz just running out of time and budget, but just blaming the purists can be debated, but there is literally nothing else to be done that would require 6 more months let alone couldn’t be done after launch.

I don’t understand the sentiment of “it’s too late now”.

That’s what delaying the release would be for. To make time for more.

Because they already announced the cuts. Do you really think they’re going to go back on it now? As for what was cut, it is too late.
