You can quite possibly find some sites that have CD-keys that you can put in the installer.
I will keep on trying, no success so far. Feels bad to have to attempt to pirate a game I just paid for browsing some fishy sites.

My dear Blizzard, what have you been doing this many years?
WoW, Sc2, Diablo III (soon 4), Hearthstone and Overwatch. Judging by how unpopular Sc2 is (free to play) I doubt we’ll see a Wc4. RTS is just not popular enough. People don’t like to use their brains so hardcore anymore. It’s easier to get into point and shoot! At the end of the day Blizzard is a company and not some government entity with unlitmited funding. They as everyone else go where the money is for the most part. Wc3 Reforged is a passion project since they probably won’t make much profit of of it, they just get the bash.
However, I believe they could make Wc3 more popular with more modes. Like LoL they could slowly expand.
Did anyone try to install Reforged while having this PTR version of W3?
Did Reforged try to replace/overwrite the PTR install?
I can confirm you can run both at the same time and its not the same directory. Reforged does however replace/merge with the wc3 Classic Install.
PTR version: Won’t get overwritten if I install Reforged.
Classic/Live Version: Will get overwritten by installing Reforged?

So wait, the PTR version of Classic Warcraft 3 is the only way to play Warcraft 3 without it asking once a day if you want to update?

Its pretty much the same exact game either way. Its only a PTR of the latest patch of a game.
Its not like we are playing the original Beta of the game that was made back in the year 2000 or something.
Yeah but I mean, I get the weird feeling the PTR version is going to be incredibly limited compared to the released version.

Nothing is missing at all. From my play of it.
And let me guess, you only played multiplayer.
No I play the campaigns only and my modded custom campaigns.
And yeah Custom Campaign mods work on this PTR version.

I wish I could say I didn’t see that coming but then I’d be lying. I mean, I was hoping I was wrong but somehow… yeah…
I have 1.31 backed up but having to tell it once a day that no I do NOT want to update to the latest patch is going to get annoying rather quickly.

Lmfao im glad it worked i got my old keys but i was surfing for more keys on there and found a ton . i doubt anyone plays them but they are all claimed ive tried
