Female archmage, paladin or blood mage?

Ah yes, the important lore of multiplayer skins.

If I send you a five dollar bill will you at least entertain the idea that putting politics over lore is bad even in multiplayer?

I won’t because I’ve never really entertained that it’s “politics” either. It’s not that much of an investment from me beyond “yeah might be neat as long as the characters as close as possible to the original inspiration/source model”.

Cool things are cool when they are cool.

I, too, want a glorious paladin mommy.

I suppose on this we can agree though to what degree on either end we may never know.

At any rate female paladins, congrats you convinced me.
One down and light knows how many to go.

Hey, and it only took ya 15 hours to do it

Nah I’m saying Mountain Queen is up there with swaps I’d like to see. Instead of the beard, you just have similar visual weight distribution by giving her big braids hanging down from the sides of her head and over the front of her armour.

Ehhhhhh.

That’s even sketchier then the paladins.
Why couldn’t you have gone after one of the easier ones like the blood mages or the shadow hunters?

Ya just had to go after mountain queens lol

I would hope it’s just a matter of time until by the end of things, there’s at least one alternate skin/model for each hero outside of the Spoils of War stuff.

Fair enough, though expecting all of them to be female is a bit much.

Well no, because male variants would be interesting too for Dark Ranger, Warden, Priestess of the Moon, and Sea Witch. While the Firelord could at least be attributed as having a masculine voice (and Blizzard’s very first depiction of fire elements in the series included official art of a woman’s silhouette, though the in-game sprite was very bulky instead), I understand that a Pit Lord might be a useless redesign because they could try too hard and, say, make a female Pit Lord too effeminate. While on the other hand it could be kind of a “what’s the point” situation if the most notable difference is just the voice acting.

I would also be interested in just parallel designs as well. Like if we saw a more Wildhammer ornamented Mountain King rather than just a Bronzebeard woman.

Agreed, a wild hammer thane would be pretty excellent.

And a nerubuian queen wouldn’t work due to certain physical differences and a female Litch…
What exactly is the point there?

But at the same time there really are others that would be suitable for this sort of thing.

We’d have to ask Blizzard about female liches since they’re the ones that brought it up in the first place.

EDIT: I am also a moron that meant to respond to the other bit. Crypt Lord does hit the “uhhh idk” area as Firelord too.

Female grass please.

And what was special or right about those two?

  1. Maiev hails from a secret order of the Watchers which in turn is part of the newly-revealed Night Elven race. All of her peers are female. Her lips are green.

  2. Tyrande is a priestess Sentinel, the chief warrior of said Night Elves. All Sentinels are female. Although her priestess title will confuse a lot of heads, especially after the Knaak’s novels, her WoW dress and HotS incarnation. Oh, and her Strarfall became a Priest racial in vanilla-TBC.

  3. Death Knight - originally a boy of utterly ambiguous and mysterious origins. Now it’s a girl because the Scourge are all about equality and unity in death. Fits.

Sodomy, pestilence, torture and bloodshed
is what she brings from her past of depraved

  1. Demon Hunter - similarly, their entire existence aside from Illidan makes little and vague sense. In WoW, there are DHs all over Azeroth and Outland, in Azshara, Blasted Lands and Terokkar. In later Legion (game, book and cartoon), we got more information on their new generation which emphasised their frenzy and despair. Many girls joined.

Overall, Demon Huntresses do not disrupt the sex caste order of the Kaldorei society as they are outlaws to begin with.

But a big issue is that they don’t wear armour - and if a male DH is a beefy boy, the female is not as noticeable.

Politics? Check. Preaching? Proud and defiant.

I didn’t read your post but I drew your idea.

Hey now I already agreed that female paladins would be fine.

If you want to be proud and defiant then fine but, leave me out of it.

Female heroes are an abomination.

How hard is it to write xhttps?
