That pic was Reforged mode, max settings. with Classic mode and its max settings, the same scene gave 100-110 fps.
Which, by the way, is another thing you haven’t mentioned. You still have not provided your system specs, the settings you used for the game, etc. etc.
This conversation will keep going around and around and around in circles until you stop avoiding the questions:
What are your system specs?
What OS are you running?
What graphics driver version?
What graphics settings for the game? ALL of them.
Until you answer these questions, continuing to talk is useless.
This tells me you didn’t bother checking. Because whether the map “has” it or not, the two modes affect performance. I literally tried both, and got (significantly) different FPS.
Even if a map was never designed to use Reforged assets, you can still play it in reforged mode and it will still affect performance.
The fps of the two modes is consistent. Hahaha, there is no Reforged mode on this map. Do you think every map will have Reforged mode? Obviously, you don’t know that some maps can only use class mode
I played both modes. 100-110 FPS in Classic and 60-70 in Reforged.
IT DOES NOT MATTER IF THE MAP “HAS” REFORGED MODE OR NOT. IT STILL AFFECTS PERFORMANCE.
It literally takes less than 2 minutes to try it yourself and see the impact. But you won’t do that, since you have STILL refused to post your system information. No one can or should trust you because you won’t tell us.
You have not tried and the FPS is different, and I am making a correct statement as I tried it myself.
You do not get to decide what my FPS are. My PC does.
You have two choices. Post your info so we have any reason to believe or trust you, and then I post video of me trying both modes and getting different FPS. Or we can continue refusing to believe each other and talking in circles.
48 replies to this thread and still no information about your computing environment
My computer can maintain 30fps at 1.35 (game start: I have 180-190fps), but in version 2.0 it can only maintain 10-15fps (game start: I have 80-110fps), and your fps is lower than mine. Obviously, you are also affected by version 2.0
I have a question. If you see two different versions of War3 on the same computer using the same map, and if different fps occur, will you admit that it’s a problem with the game version?
Only if I know what that computer is and what parts it has inside it, because as I explained, different computers will play games differently, and I get much better FPS than you regardless of version. So no, I can’t admit that because that doesn’t eliminate a specific issue or incompatibility between the new version of the game and your particular PC.
If only i knew your PC specs. I’ve only asked for them like… 20 times at this point?
The only way you can satisfy me is to give your PC info. It’s not like this is some kind of personal information or something, so I have no idea why you are refusing to do this.
Why are there different computers? Didn’t I make it clear
Don’t you know about the method of controlling variables?
Using the same computer
Using the same map
However, using different versions of War3
If there are different fps, doesn’t it prove that it’s a problem with the game version?
My computer is different from yours? Your computer is different from other peoples?
You don’t seem to understand that this problem of yours may only have to do with certain PC parts that you have that not all other people have. Or certain OS versions , or certain drivers, etc.
But since you STILL refuse to tell us, we don’t know what you have.
My PC plays both the old and the new version fine. So… this seems more likely to be a you problem than a game version problem.
But AGAIN, since you don’t post your PC specs, we do not know. I don’t know why this is so hard for you to do.
Your videos and your comparison are not valid without this information. Period. And you demonstrate to me that you don’t have the technical knowledge to understand why different people might have different experiences playing the same game.
I mean I said EXACTLY THIS in my post, so yes, of course I understand that. But this only shows how getting different FPS doesnt mean its a game problem.
My PC does not care if its 1.35 or 2.0.1. Your map works fine on my PC. Therefore, we can not conclude from your videos that there is a specific problem with the game, which would probably affect everyone.
Obviously, YOU know nothing about the method of controlling variables, because you have not done so- you have not proven to me that you have done so.
Maybe you enjoy this senseless circle talking? I don’t know. But all you have to do to end this is post your computer specs. As i’ve said many times, until you do, your videos and post are meaningless.
If the fps is higher than 180, every time a 4vs4 battle occurs, the fps will remain above 30 (playable), just like in the first video,
Your current fps is already at 70, and when a 4vs4 battle occurs, your fps will drop to 10, just like in the second video.
obviously, my map works not fine on your PC
