Except wide-screen support came with patch 1.29 (or 1.30). Although, even older patches can be played just fine on wide screens, as I did for a long time.

As for ping, how come there are so many threads here complaining about Reforged ping. Seems like whatever ping was back in original, it was better than Reforged
