  1. He told the Ambassador he would not institute quarantine without proof of the Ambassador’s claims.
  2. He asked the Raven Man about the meaning of it all - the most intellectual question possible.
  3. He told the Ambassador to hold - Hold, ambassador!
  4. He humiliated the Raven Man by showing his lack on interest in who the Raven Man was or what he believed in.
  5. He put his knowledge on display when he declared that that was not the time for rambling prophets.
  6. He honoured the centuries of efforts by his forefathers by proudly proclaiming it should be they who decide how best to protect their people, not the Raven Man.
  7. He utterly demolished the Raven Man by telling him to begone.
