Zerg strength in pvz needs to be addressed

Let’s be real guys, even being a 6.1K Terran main, it is heart breaking watching any PvZ progame match. All PvZs recently are all protoss carnage. From all the matchups of the game, this one is the worst situation balance wise BY FAR.

Protosses trying all openers: Adept Glaive, Archon drop (a legit PvZ strat, and not used in PvT contrary to some 5k forum zergs beliefs), Robo, Stargate. Not a single one can do substantial damage to Zerg economy and the game just snowballs in Zerg’s favor to either win at late game or just smack Protoss down slowly through repeated hydra/bane waves and mass free units (swarm host/broodlings). Protoss also cannot protect a quicker third, unlike in PvT, because of zerg’s hyper-mobile mechanics, getting even further behind in the economy.

Blizzard developers need to look at this matchup ASAP as it is very onesided and it has been for a while. Protoss is in huge disadvantage from the get go. I suggest we look at:

  • Infestor/viper . Protoss has no answer to these.
  • Swarm Hosts . Free units are OP.
  • Queens . Mineral only siege unit that acts as a macro mechanic, stacking shield battery, and maphack all in one! OVERPOWERED!
  • baneling/lurker drops . Can come from any angle and if you don’t react instantly, an entire mineral line is vaporized.
  • Nydus . Protoss has the least map awareness of any race, which is also why proxies are so good in PvP, but it makes Protoss utter trash in PvZ because they just can’t find the nydus and if they can’t find it they can’t prepare for what is coming so they just auto die to repeated waves of free locusts.

I legit can’t tell if you’re trolling. That alone makes this a 5/5 post.

This is the average representation of EVERY stage from ro8 of EVERY tournament since 2019:

Do you see that giant increase in Zerg representation in the round of 4, which comes at the cost of a huge reduction in Protoss and Terran representation? This is what needs to be fixed.

All we have to do is wait for Byun to get out of military and everything will be fine. Trust in Buyn.

If you are going to lie, you need to make sure it is a lie that is difficult to falsify. This one is not - it is blatantly false.

Do you have eyes? These charts factually prove my point:

Taking for granted that your data is correct (highly unlikely given you seem to have compiled it by hand), the data factually does not support your point. You’re measuring income in America by doing a poll in The Hamptons. It’s a nice effort regardless. :kissing_heart:

Much to your dismay, an interpretation of the facts is very different from the outright denial of facts. You see, I get my data from liquipedia results that anyone can check against unless they are below 5k mmr and 20 IQ; instead of hand drawing a line plot with photoshop.

Line plots actually work quite well tho with blatant fact-deniers. They will literally deny facts if they don’t agree with their conclusion instead of spending time practicing splitting their corruptors.

… by hand.

Ok, lets try this again. This is the fallacy you are using, only applied to a real world scenario:

  1. Men are 10x more likely to be incarcerated than women.
  2. Therefore, ALL men are criminals and ALL women are not.

You are trying to show that men are criminals by looking at a group of exceptional individuals who by no means follow the trend but are rather exceptions to the trend. If you were to sample the whole population, you’d see the rate of criminality in both men and women is so low that you couldn’t possibly label ALL men criminals.

This is analogous to saying Zerg is overpowered because a few Zergs did well in a small selection of tournaments. All zergs are not overpowered because a few exceptional individuals did well. If you sampled the whole population, you’d see that Zergs struggle against Protoss.

I don’t see a problem here. Did you spot a mistake or why are you being so anal about this?

There were 3206 tournaments since 2018. He claims to have compiled the average representation for EVERY stage of EVERY tournament since 2019 even though he’s listed only a dozen or so. Don’t see a problem? Turn your brain on. There is no possible way to compile that by hand and even if you did it would be too error prone, and his data clearly shows that he didn’t.

“I dont know how to retrieve 3000+ data points using the API in like 2 ms so everyone else must be doing it by hand too!”

Maybe he has utilized all the Terran Crying Team in this gargantuan endevor? Ever noticed that very few whiners are taking part on the forum those hours?
Bourne is on charge of office supplies. Unfortunately he was arrested and quarantined in Bangkok for hoarding pencils and toilet-paper.
When asked he replied that they were needed for some statistics in Bnet…

Your chart factually does not show 3000+ data points. Rather, it shows 18.

Should that be the case, the results would be far too error-prone. You see, to tally tournament wins one must be capable of counting above 3.

I actually thought he was using the API as its back online but ok.

What API are you referring to? The SC2 ladder API?

No wonder you never have more than 3 smurf barcodes talking to yourself at once!

Your insecurity about smurfing doesn’t stem from how common smurfing is in general, rather, it stems from how often you smurf. How often you smurf != how often other people smurf. The hasty generalization fallacy seems to be very common in your thinking.

Absolutely! I’m so glad you are at least able to understand 0!=3. Not all of us are pitiful 5k zergs who needs a barcode account to talk with and give self up votes.
