With Zerg now going into pure infestor/broodlord/corrupter I wonder if they have the easiest late game comp in the game to control. Literally only 3 units, 2 of which are a move. That on top of the fact that they have the luxury of sitting back for as long as they need until the right engagement can happen. Seems late game Zerg is very, very straightforward and much easier to manage than the more technical late game armies wielded by Terran and Protoss.
Start a Zerg-Account, get easily to GM, win easily WCS-Events and Blizzcon. Should be no problem for you, since it is so easy. Share some pics please, when you are the top player of the world.
You cant get to GM with godlike late game if your early game is gold lvl. Doesnt change fact that Zerg lategame is universaly thought of as easiest.
ok, I’ll bite.
Zerg late units take BY FAR the longest time investment to reach, so they should be the toughest to counter. Have you ever heard of a Thor rush? A BC rush? A carrier rush? A Tempest rush? Yeah they happen at the pro level. Have you ever heard of a Broodlord rush?
Granted terran stuff can be hard to control at times, but to think managing all the Zerg spell casters is somehow easier than F1+amove a carrier/void ray ball hitting T once in awhile is completely delusional. HT even have a very long range auto attack to enable the F1 users.
Honestly, I didnt see any carrier or Thor rush in past year… But yeah, BC rush is extreme built from Zerg being extremely safe vs anything by using queens.
Troll
Yes it is a complete sentence
Obvious troll since Zerg has the hardest late game comp to control. Thor/BC is the easiest late game comp to control since it’s literally nothing but a-moving.
Still haven’t found me a pro who’s said Zerg had more difficult micro. But hey, you said it, I guess I have to believe you, you’re definitely not biased.
Now that I’m done bashing Shaz’ stupid comments (Thor/BC? are you serious? one unit and one spell can defeat that comp), it’s not, though.
Zerg has a very difficult late game micro, especially coupled with the fact that their mid game micro is so easy comparatively. It may seem easy, but that’s only because it’s so strong. It’s definitely comparable to the late game EMP/ snipe/ split ghosts/ constantly seige and reseige liberators thing Terran has to do.
Protoss likely has the easiest late game, but it’s difficult because it’s quite weak currently.
I’m not even trolling. Controlling broodlord infestor looks easy as hell. Period.
Protoss is definetly the easiest…
Mass carriers + storm is way easier than anything. In teamgames, it’s quite common to see someone with 25 APM beating everyone if you had let him alone mass his carriers, but you’ll never see 25 APM dudes controlling late game Zerg nor Terran (maybe mass BC but even that is harder to control).
The case of the disappearing Drone:
There are a lot of games now (PvZ) where is send Adepts and Oracles to pay a friendly-visit to the Drone lines of the zergs and…no drones.
The moment that i withdraw the danger…95 Drones.
Please, can a Zerg explain this highly disturbing occurrence?
Thank you for your opinion.
I actually tried to make that work at some point during WoL. I had 4 BL ready at 8min (mind: with the old economy).
Totally unviable BO: you were f.ucked whenever someone attacked you before the eight minute mark and even if it worked, it could be easily countered, but a lot of fun; I simply loved to receive the mandatory “wtf” from my opponents.
You do realize it’s not a good choice to a-move BLs or Corrupters?
Lukewarm takes like this are why the game is in the position it is in.
Zerg has and always should be a strong lategame potential. It comes with their inherent characteristics.
It is my usual M.O. to ask, “how did you let the zerg get to late game?”
or, “how did you not do substantial damage to delay their lategame so you can obtain your late game?”
but now that the game is maxed at 10 minutes, I cannot give you any meaningful advice. The game has been homogenized, and the same rules that used to apply do not apply with how much differently the games proceed from the first worker.
I do not think the game is easy, or that anyone can simply pick up zerg and be good. It requires a lot of fine details that aren’t build order specific. It takes a lot of semantic memory to utilize all of your options, but… BUT… If you can utilize all of your options, if you can have 300 EAPM, and you can have the cumulative knowledge of someone who has played the game since the beginning I do believe you have a better chance of going pro or competing at a much higher level than if you played the other 2 races.
If i has 95 drones he has no army, you push you win.
lmao you are still a joke
No way! He was a friendly zerg and gave me an armistice after my 16 Carriers lost all Interceptors. So i gave him time to build an army with those 95 Drones.
My point was what happened with those drones when i sent the Adept party, and how after the Adept left 95 Drones appeared instantly?
I also have seen suspicious behavior of his Roaches. They tend to disapear as soon as my army arrives to defend my Probes. The moment the last Stalker/Zealot goes…the nasty Roaches appear behind my Probe-lines and…
P.S. I want to know this because this is one of the questions in the Mandatory-Test for geting a Coach-Zerg License.
Some evil people told me that maybe, maybe, maybe has something to do with…Burrow. I don’t fall for this zerg-disinformation!
Because the invisible protiss snip…
Disinformation you say. I heard those scientist reports say that changelings expire and only transform into zealots, marines and zerglings.
No, you did not forget to warp in those pylons…
Those storms on your zealots, what a sad misclick.
That siege tank doing so much friendly fire. Something should be done with that splash range.
Have you heard about those 4 heroic terran marines? “They managed to kill 40 speedlings alone on creep with their incredible micro and are now being promoted to high command in the terran army. We will have the best of our best leading us to battle against the evil zerg at the most critical time”, say the headlines.
Heh, this war between races is already over.
You were shown that plus some. Stop lying, you’re a meme.
