This issues is so annoying!!! Why it is still not fixed???
if there’s a green bar to the right of the “Play” button, it means the game is updating, since it’s green, it’s most likely finishing updating, and should allow you to play the game soon, depending how fast your internet is, and how big the update is.
No after you launch it, there is pop out window, where there is progress bar across green rectangle is going… I heard it is an issues while ago and it is still not fixed… As lizard is totally incompetent!!!
ahh… in that case, SC2 is trying to open. Make sure that your Central Processing Unit (CPU) has at least 20% free space, or more–depending on your computer, as SC2 only can utilize 1 core. Can SC2 open if you close other windows?
Right-click your taskbar, and select ‘task manager’ then try to close SC2, by clicking SC2, then click “End task” on the bottom-right of the window. Try to end programs that take up a lot of your CPU, then try to get in SC2 again.
LOL i have 12 cores, but okay. It is a bug… It was reported many times awhile ago…

The loading bar at launch is still being worked on. Typically, letting it sit for up to 15 minutes will let it finish and the game to start. There have been a few other workarounds found from other players on the main thread here if you want to take a look. Please note that these are do at your own risk as they are player suggested steps.
It is continued to be worked on and hopefully a fix will be out soon.
