Why is Protoss only micro a-move storm?

Seriously, I don’t understand how this is balanced. I’m playing GM and m1 players with half my apm and the only micro they ever do is press storm over and over and maybe mass blink stalkers when they delete my army. Anyone that plays Protoss seriously needs to take off your training wheels and try another race.

Its designed to be that way. The power of protoss and all.

Welcome to 14 years of Protoss.

When I switched from Terran to Protoss I finally understood who some players where obsessed with talking about macro, because that literally all you needed to do with Protoss.

I pushed my way up into diamond with Protoss simply by building stalkers with a few immortals and a-moving them into my opponents bases via the minimap. I rarely if ever microed. Just sat with the camera in my bases macroing. If the army died I just warped in another 200/200 arm and a-moved it again.

It’s an easy race . Don’t let these noobs gas light you into thinking otherwise. There’s plenty of data to support this

At Masters and GM , toss is like 51% of the population base. Data doesn’t lie

Because balance only matters at the level of high end competition representation. So F*** everybody who plays ladder.

Alright show the statistics brother.

There is more micro than that, there is also the sentry, disruptor, Oracle

A-move Force Field

A-move Nova

Press Pulsar beam, A-move.

Seems about the same as a-move storm.

None of these interactions involve actual unit micro or target firing like what Terran/Zerg has to do.

RustTank = GhostHydra
There was a zerg who claimed he was 5k MMR despite the fact that he only was 4.3k
He was crying about balance in every patch so this must be him.

GTFO of this forum trash and stop polluting it with your nonsense !!!

Im not 5k, not Ghosthydra either, you can look at my past account names brother.

You act exactly the same way GhostHydra did - claiming you’re 5k (or close to 5k) while SC2Pulse shows 4.3 and spamming multiple threads complaining about balance. If you are indeed 5k then you should be good enough to improve rather than cry like a baby. Stop trolling and start gitguding. We have enough zerg whiners on this forum.

I’d love to see you “improve” to the top 100 of this game. If you were at my level you would see the egregious amounts of low level noobs at my same mmr with half the skill. Also, whats up with this forum and trying to prove people are someone else? lol ya’ll are psychos. Also dude, 100% of this forum is balance complaints, wth are you even on about?

Casting storm takes the same number of actions as the opposite player takes to get out of storm

Cheers

LOL WHAT. Storm takes 2 actions. Selecting a single unit and pressing storm. Dodging a storm involves moving tons of army units in multiple directions.

The answer is because storm is so strong that all the other Protoss tools have been nerfed into the ground.
Heck, in this patch they even nerfed Immortal… because it was “too good all around”. Even though it only attacks ground, and does single target damage, and is a tech unit.

Like, it gets wrecked by marines/lings/muta/libs…

Like think about it, if you played 'toss, what would you even make now?

I love this topic. It brings out all the Protoss players who refuse to admit that their micro game isn’t as good as T or Z at the same level of play.

Whiiiiich can be done by drag-select the units inside storm, then move-click…

2 actions

Splitting an army efficiently vs splash takes far more than two actions, and saying that it doesn’t is utter bilge.

Moving out of a storm can be two actions, but it is also pretty much never the optimal play.

Playing against splash (mines, banes, storm) takes more APM than using it. This is just an objective fact.
