Because winning tournaments is the dumbest measure of balance possible. You’re looking at the top 4-5 players in the world and you think balance dictates who wins? lol, bruh. Take a course on statistics.
2 players can be exceptionally better but thousands of players in masters league directly after patches didn’t magically become better.

It’s not that serral and reynor are good. It’s that they play zerg. The easiest race in the game. Why do you think all females play zerg?
Kaitlyn, Livibee, Zerggirl, Scarlett and so on. It’s the easiest race in the game. Extremely abusive to protoss. Those games that the zerg simply rallies lings to protosses main until they win are horrible.
That’s not RTS, that’s just cancerous gameplay.

Serral and Reynor’s offraces are top 20 GM. None of the Terran or Protoss pros can offrace Zerg well. Pretty shows the opposite of what you think is true.
The offrace cherrypicking comments mean nothing. If they were that good, they would play another race that you speak of.
The simple fact is, when money is on the line, they make a conscious choice to play the easiest to abuse race, that being zerg.

Yes, it’s an amazing concept that no other than Z can have insane win streak in series against an specific race over many many months.
At pro level there are already really good players, but what happens is that high level ZvP is Z favoured, not really that Serral and Reynor are just better their race also is good, on the last tournament Serral dropped two maps and almost got out of the tournament aganst Time, then he had to play two zvp and casually walked into the trophy, when Serral loses is against Z or T, never against P, doesn’t sound that weird?.Rogue also has some insane series record. It’s not that just playing good at the highest level, the race also matters, that’s why VOD reviewing is important, many players are already playinG reasonably well and the results are not there. But as I said, I don’t know what can be done about the matchup, it is mostly design, I guess we will have to wait until the scene dies and the more casual Z are not good enough to be unbeatable against lower skill protoss following the ladder situation.

- Airplanes can’t fly because one crashed.
- You can’t go outside because one guy somewhere was struck by lightning.
- You can’t eat food because someone choked to death once.

That’s literally the entire point of my argument kid. Design matters. The design is so f’d up that Zerg players are severely disadvantaged, are being demoted en masse and quitting the game en masse as a result.
