Version Mismatch

Nothing is working to fix the version mismatch i am getting. I have even uninstalled the game and reinstalled it.

are you installing it from disc or from the blizzard app

Me too. This happens every time. It’s the DRM: the battle.net 2.0 launcher always breaks for no reason.

Insists https://us.support.blizzard.com/en/help/article/257703 will somehow help (it doesn’t).

This is why people just pirate. The paid for version breaks all the time

To be fair, SaveHongKong, if it was breaking all the time, there would be a deluge of reports all the time. However, there simply aren’t. Meaning, it works for the vast majority of people the vast majority of the time.

It’s not DRM related. Version Mismatch means the game client version and the server version are different. That would throw the error regardless of DRM status.

Support articles aren’t guaranteed fixes. If the one you linked didn’t work, then it means that’s not the underlying problem.

Make sure you’re not trying to launch the PTR. Or close everything down and wait for the Agent.exe process to close. Then open the launcher and let it sit for a while.

SAME! So… To match the versions I deleted Starcraft II And went to restart the download. This was a last resort because I tried everything else. Not it won’t start a fresh down. It just sits forever. This happens in every region. There is no Blizzard folder nor Starcraft II folder left, even in AppData… What next?
