Unexpected Fatal Error

I keep getting a crash usually when a custom game ( Cute Defense ) goes on for a longer period of time… its random and nobody else seems to be having the issue.

I just re-installed Windows and everything and tried a game and it crashed with fatal error code: 2D94B573-237A-41A1-B4E5-5330BBA33401

check your performance of your pc when running the game. might be over heating something or just a bad setting.

I have a super computer, no issues in any other game… just SC2… and just tried running as administrator another report: 94E566FB-C02E-4371-9C23-8B53C9D18489

if its only happening on a particular custom map, just might be its a bugged map. try other games and ladders and see if it still happens, other wise your gonna have to hunt down a tech that knows the error codes.

I’m doing some more research, and I think it might be the 14900k… but no idea just guessing

How long are we talking?

It was happening like 30+ minutes into a game of Cute Defense… after I reinstalled windows its happening like 15-20 now.

Just an update for anyone else that may run into an issue:

I switched to 32bit client and put graphics to ultra and was able to play a 50+ minute game no crash

Update to the update:

playing on 32bit and bumping the graphics up didnt solve the crashes but made it way more random. I can play a match for an hour and its fine, I can play for 15 minutes and it crashes. I don’t have any issues with any other games and the game isn’t giving me a crash report so I can see what the problem is.

try running msi afterburner and watching your temps and usages.

Temps are fine, I can play Star Citizen on for hours

This is the error, its so random I can paly for a few days nothing and then crash all day the next day… no windows arrows fresh install of everything… is the game just not compatible with a 4090

i tried looking that up with a google search, by any chance do you have any antivirus running.

just windows defender

Still getting fatal error crashes JUST with Blizzard Star Craft 2… reset WMI, fresh installed, 32bit, vsync, no anti-virus, mem checked, hardware checked, stress tested… Is SC2 just a programmed pile of trash that can’t utilize modern technology?

Lol trash… because an old game that ended development half a decade ago has touble running on the most current hardware. I guess that means space quest and lode runner and and old blizzard games like wc1 and d1 are all “trash” because they cant run well now. Smh.

So yeah, if youre going to use the latest and greatest “super computer” abandoned games are going to function less and less with time. This is not news.
