Unable to play StarCraft 2 after patch

When I run Play from BattleNet on StarCraft 2 now I’m getting an error report ID B35D96F3-EF25-40D5-BCC0-021FECF90BA8 after launch. I’ve already uninstalled, restarted, reinstalled the program, cleared out my user preferences, disengaged my One Drive backup of the Documents folder, and cleared out the cached information on my PC and I still can’t get the program to launch.

Hey, TiBones! The crashes aren’t showing much other than Nvidia In-game Overlay and some errors with Windows or the Blizzard Application. For the reinstall, did you reinstall the Blizzard Application or the game? It may help to try both if only one was done.

Could you try disabling Nvidia’s overlay, then retest? If it continues, see if StarCraft II will launch on a New Admin account. This resets a ton of registries and settings for the windows profile.

Would you be able to gather a DxDiag file. Copy and paste the text file created and paste it between two ~~~ like so:

Thanks so much for your response. I’ve already disabled the Nvidia overlay, but I’ll give the new administrative account a try. The DxDiag information through Display Devices for my PC is as follows:

Can’t start SC2 after latest patch 7/9/2019. Get error message: “Game Initialization Failed: I” I click ok, then get the following message box: "An error occurred starting StarCraft II. Please try again. (Error 2:1).

I did a “Scan and Repair” and same exact error messages.

Installing and reinstalling fixed it.

Thanks, TiBones! Let us know if the New Admin account may help!

The DxDiag is missing about half of the information, if you’d be able to copy the full DxDiag here or use Pastebin.com to copy over the DxDiag information and paste the URL between two ` (~ key) like so:
