Ultrawide Monitor, on Mac. Resolution: 5120 x 1440 (32:9)

I was playing SC2 on my MacBook Pro M1 for the past year on this giant Dell Ultrawide U4924DW monitor with a huge max resolution of 5120 x 1440. I just swapped out the MacBook Pro with a brand new Mac Mini M4 Pro, but same monitor. I installed SC2 and when I launch it, I get the usual tiny square screen. I went to settings and tried to change the resolution to something larger, but everything I try just doesn’t work. It will stretch out to the full width of the screen, but the horizontal looks horrible and it’s simply unusable. Since I got this to work somehow in the past, I’m curious if there are any tips out there for getting this to work now. Most of the tips I’ve seen on this forum were related to Windows machines and Nvidia GPUs. This is just whatever the Mac Silicon has to offer. The game played beautifully well on my MacBook Pro on this monitor, so it has to be possible, but I just can’t figure out how to get it to look nice on this brand new Mini. Please advise.

the game has no resolution support for wide/ultra/super-wide support. pvp fair play reasons. bliz really should add more resolutions even if they were limited to the pve campaign.

mods used to work, bliz patched their functionality out.
