I thought that was insanity to keep trying the same thing…but it actually did work! Thanks for the suggestions, worked on about the 8th attempt. No more issues with logging in and out of the US server.
Hope this helps others that are experiencing the same thing.

Try logging in from the SC2 screen not the Blizzard launcher
im not having problems logging in. only other people here, just been trying to help people. im always on sc2 my computer dont log out unless i restart it. if your talking about the captcha thing, yeah still no captcha, sc2 doesnt use that bs. so again what the frack are you talking about.
whether your hard wired or not you still have firewalls, and permissions.

Great, can you also pass on that it’s absolutely ridiculous that we can’t play a game we paid for? If they aren’t going to fix this, they need to refund people. I don’t care how long it’s been since the game came out, or if they’ve abandoned it because they’re busy making more mtx for WoW. I paid money for a game, I should be able to PLAY that game. This issue lasting more than 2 days now is ridiculous.

dude use the fixs and quit complaining.
Jesus christ, you like the sound of your own voice, don’t you? I’ve tried every fix listed. I’ve restarted my router, added firewall permissions, removed and REadded them, reinstalled the game, etc. I’ve done everything short of formatting my PC, and I’m not doing that because Blizzard broke a game they haven’t even touched in years. So unless you have a NEW fix to suggest, and not the same one you’ve spammed 300 times that DIDN’T WORK FOR ME, please go away.

have you tried to brute force it like the others? maybe the problem is just you. are we not supposed to tell others what may fix there stuff, cause it seems like alot of people benefited from the suggestions. you may not of but thats ok cause you only seemed to be worried about yourself and not others.
“Maybe the problem is just you” Yeah, because it’s DEFINITELY my end when every game I own, including every other Blizzard game, works fine. It couldn’t POSSIBLY be Blizzard’s end despite NOTHING ELSE HAVING ISSUES. “you may not of but thats ok cause you only seemed to be worried about yourself and not others.” So just to be clear, you only help people who thank you for advice that doesn’t work, and if your advice DOESN’T work, you’re rude to the person. Good to know, blocking you asap because you obviously can’t act like an adult.

im the one helping people, your the one telling me not to help, hmmmmm, which is only conserned about himself here. secondly, i havent really been thanked by anyone, and i really dont care if they do, im just trying to help people. and as for being rude to you well, your the one who started that when you got mad none of the fixs worked for you, and out of the countless people that have posted about said fixs that have worked, you attacked me directly… geee, why is that, and why were you rude to me in the first place. maybe your just jealous that the fixes worked for others and not you, maybe your just so petty and angry you needed to lash out on some one, i dont know.
If you still can’t get in, try this: Open SC2, then when it gives the outage message, swap servers from the login menu of SC2. When it asks you to create a new profile for the other server, hit cancel instead, then swap back to US and login. Finally got through this way.

Of course not.
Paying doesn’t cement eternal functionality. It doesn’t even when a game is in active development, which SC2 is not.
God bless you sir. You are doing the Lord’s work.
Can confirm this works. Took me 15 login attempts.
This “brute force” approach worked for me. I tried most of the other “fixes” listed here but nothing worked. Took about 10-15 tries and I was able to get to the menu screen. Ugh. Come on, Blizzard.
Just want to bump saying I’ve been having the same issue. Redownloaded on my account and a friends’ and set up new battle.net account for 2 other computers to be able to LAN. Worked for me no issue immediately, but my friend got the same server unavailable response (note- while a preexisting blizzard account, it was a first time SC2 account as well. Only mine had played before). Both new accounts had the issue, one of which was able to get in after running as admin. The other still has not gotten in after ~5 attempts, will try again when we are all together if brute force worked for others.
when people are saying brute force it the time and attempts vary, some one was trying for ten minutes before he got in. justt keep at it and hope for the best.
Been trying the brute force method for over an hour. Not working for me. Also tried every other method posted. Three different brute force methods tried.
- Closing SC2, booting it back up, and trying to login in US Servers.
- Repeatedly trying to login to US servers without closing SC2.
- Switching to EU or KR, Logging in, canceling instead of creating a profile name, proceeding to switch to US, and fail again.
I am also having this issue. Please fix
+1 I am also having this issue
