The mutator Missile Command keeps destroyed missiles visible on the minimap

Bug
The missiles in the mutator Missile Command never get removed from the minimap even after the missiles get shot down.

Expected Behavior
It is expected that the missiles are removed from the minimap once destroyed.

Actual Behavior
The missiles are still shown on the minimap after they are destroyed.

Description
The current mutation mission as of 25 July 2019, Media Blackout, contains the mutation Missile Command in which “endless missile bombardments target your structures and must be shot down throughout the mission.”

However, even though the missiles are shot down, the missiles still appear on the minimap, cluttering and obstructing all other information on the minimap.

The screenshot linked below is taken from a playthrough on YouTube: Yuriprime Mutation 168. It shows the player’s view, which shows that there are no missiles present. Yet, the minimap shows that the player’s current view is filled with missiles.
