Who do you think will be after Stettman?
I’m thinking as he technically is a Zerg Commander; we will either see Terran or Protoss.
If Protoss; most likely will be Selendis. If not her, then I’m hoping for Rohana (as a full Daelaam Commander).
For Terran; Tosh or Valerian (Umojan focused Commander).
What do you think? What do you hope? Why?

Ariel Hanson, Tosh, or Selendis, probably. Maybe Valerian.
A lot of people want Selendis.

I hope to see Tosh. He waits for too long since WoL to appear in any shape or form. Plus, spectres just too cool to waste.
I, personally, want to see some kind of «guerrilla» terran commander, mobile, aggressive, and with couple of dirty tricks in his sleeve.

I’m personally rooting for Selendis or Niadra. Tosh is also a fan favorite so I wouldn’t be surprised if Blizzard makes it happen.
They’ve made changes relating to H&H and Stetmann so it seems clear to me pre-existing mission premises will not limit the commander selection pool.

Terran have 5 commanders, other 2 have 6 each so it’s likely a Terran commander is next up.
Popularity is a recurring factor with most new commanders so I would expect to see Selendis eventually, presuming they still bother with co-op beyond this year.

More than anything else, I want a Selendis Commander. I’ve wanted it since Co-op started.
However, Valerian and Tosh would also be highly desirable.

This would be great, along with Selendis.
I expect the next comm to be Terran or maybe Zerg. There are lots of Protoss already so Selendis will be a while I reckon.
Valerian/Izsha is who I’m rooting for and esp Selendis/mothership comm eventually.
Izsha is at the moment my most wanted Zerg Commander. I do want The Overmind but I’m not sure how he’d play. I just like the idea of Izsha dropping in units anywhere on the map like Raynor or Artanis.
Rohana is my most wanted Protoss Commander as I hope she’d have units from each of the four Protoss factions (Templar, Nerazim, Purifier, and Tal’darim).
Tosh is my most wanted Terran Commander as he is my favorite Terran character and I really want to play with Spectres.

I want Tosh or Dr Hanson next.

I wouldn’t mind seeing Warfield in the flesh again. That mission where he kept sending Gorgon BC after Gorgon BC to their deaths wasn’t a bright move, but I chalk that up to “plot scripting”. If he were a real CO in Coop, we’d have no such concerns since we, the players, would be controlling him

Tauren Marine or Lost Viking is my guess

I always wanted Tosh. But now that I know how much I enjoy the new lines on Mist Opportunities with Stetmann I want Donnie Vermillion as commander and announcer.

I do hope for Tosh.
But I honestly think that many characters can happen. I can’t really say who it will be. The only thing I can say is that it will probably be a Terran.

I higly doubt we will have Vermillion as a commander, since there is a lot of others Terran characters a lot more important then Vermillion, and if they want to make the poll of commanders balanced, well, Vermillion is quite hard.
Terran
1-Raynor
2-Swann
3-Nova
4-Han & Horner
5-Tychus
6-Valerian? (datamined, and Umojan skin suitable for him)
7-Mengsk? (datamined)
8-Hanson? (datamined)
9-Tosh? (datamined)
10-Warfield? (datamined)
11-DuGalle? (mentioned in a interview)
Zerg
1-Kerrigan
2-Zagara
3-Abathur
4-Stukov
5-Dehaka
6-Stetmann
7-Izsha? (datamined)
8-Overmind? (datamined)
9-Niadra? (mentioned in a interview)
10-Zurvan? (mentioned in a interview)
11-Duran? (datamined. Can be even Terran, but since there is a lot of Terran characters, Zerg in my opinion is a better option)
Protoss
1-Artanis
2-Vorazun
3-Karax
4-Alarak
5-Talandar
6-Zeratul
7-Selendis? (datamined and Golden Age skin suitable for her or Rohana)
8-Rohana? (datamined and Golden Age skin suitable for her or Selendis)
9-Tassadar? (datamined)
10-Aldaris? (mentioned in a interview)
11-Ji’nara or Lasarra? (this is just m guess, but I don’t see any other Protoss character possible)
Vermillion btw was mentioned, so I don’t exclude at 100% him as a commander, but I think Blizzard just mentioned him as a joke. And even if we will have rooster of 12 commanders per race, Zerg will missing of a commander, and I doubt we will see Daggoth, Zasz or Second Overmind as a commander (since they are the only missing Zerg characters)

Selendis would be good, utilize that Protoss Golden Age skin pack.

These suggestions are the easiest to imagine according to popularity or from the skins in warchests imo
Terran
Valerian= probably with terran units with umojan tech. (UNIQUE UNIT: Warhounds/Sky Terran units)
Tosh= Terrazine enhanced units or squad with Terrazine unique resource (UNIQUE UNIT: Spectres ofc)
Protoss
Selendis= Golden age protoss skins that has powerful air units a.k.a. the Golden Armada (UNIQUE UNIT: Mothership)
Zerg
Niadra= similar to HOTS campaign mechanics where Niadra starts as a larva and evolves to a Queen that spawns units with enough biomass from your enemies maybe similar to Zeratul mechanics in which as you gather biomass, you get upgrades as you reach a certain cap (Unique unit: Niadra)
Overmind: can evolve his units similar to HOTS campaign with a unique resource or use the remaining unused zerg variation (Roachling strain, Noxious Ultras etc.)
(Edit) also possible to use or summon his cerebrates to further improve units stats or abilites according to the specific cerebrate(has max limit of cerebrate summoned)
(UNIQUE UNIT: Defiler/Cerebrate)

Overmind with Noxious and Roaches don’t make sense. Overmind was way before this strains was created.
But something similar but with the elite strains of SC1 will be cool
Overlord->Yggdrasill
Zergling->Devouring One
Hydralisk->Hunter Killer
Defiler->Unclean One
Ultralisk->Torrasque
Mutalisk->Kukulza
Guardian->Greater Kukulza (I know both are called Kukulza, but I doubt they will give the same name for two different units)
Brood Queen->Matriarch

Hmm… the Overmind as a Commander could actually have a pretty big gimmick of using Cerebrates for over-normal control cap and unlocking major force multiplier specialist strains, but conversely having only indirect control over Cerebrate forces.

Duran is Narud in SCII, so I imagine if they stuck him into coop at all they wouldn’t as Duran. Might I also point out that “Narud” is simply “Duran” spelled backwards?
There’s a lot of good choices in your list, but we haven’t had anybody from SCI yet, so for that reason we might just get from SCII in the future. Just a guess of course.
Hopeful for Tosh, Urun or A broodmother commander.
