I really think Zoun or Trap have a good chance to win this season. We shall see while the GSL season is taking place. I think we just have to see a Protoss who can innovate a good strategy and tactics with the race. I think those two can do it.

According to their logic, the only strat Protoss pros have been using for the last 2 years is Proxy VR. It’s factually not true, and easily disproved; but they just…ignore that evidence and have emotional knee-jerk reactions.
People on this forum act as if proxy VR was the only vial strat done by pros on tournaments where recently you see it like maybe once in 50 games. This is protoss hipocrisy:

Dude protoss can win all the tournaments they want. I DON’T CARE. All we want is (almost) balanced game in “mortal” leagues (plat, diamond, M3 etc).

Hmm. That’s strange because from what i hear from people who observe tournaments it is protoss who wins most tournaments since patch 5.07 (quadruple void ray buff). Ask people like Batz who are adept at presenting statistics do i don’t even know what you are complaining about.
The only problem is that majority of premier tournaments are won by zergs and protoss dominates less prestigous tournaments.

And it’s not even that bad for Toss just using the top 2 spots of each tournament for metrics. Trap alone won 5 premier tournaments. In fact, Protoss had a top 2 finish for 12/21 tournaments in 2021. That’s over 50% of tournaments where Protoss was at the tippity top. It’s ridiculous to claim that Protoss can’t perform in tournies xD
Top 2 never be a place only first place wins
That’s not a valid metric. It’s too statistically small and too prone to “streaks” where a player exceeds their average performance. Idk why you insist on making the worst takes in the most broken gibberish I’ve ever seen from an ESL.
