Starcraft Editor will not launch on my M2 Mac

I can run Starcraft 2 perfectly in Metal, but Starcraft Editor will not launch at all. When I try to launch the editor I get this error-

ERROR: StarCraft II has encountered an error while initializing your videocard. Please try starting StarCraft II again, or restarting your machine. If the problem persists, for more information consult our support website at Blizzard Support.

If you try to run Starcraft 2 in OpenGL mode, it will not launch and you are required to reset the in-game settings back to Metal before it will launch. The Error you get is word for word the same as the one we are encountering when trying to launch Starcraft Editor.

This leads me to believe that Starcraft Editor is trying to launch in OpenGL mode, rather than Metal. I can’t find a config file or text document related to Starcraft Editor that I can edit in order to change this.

I’m still trying to figure out a solution. Hopefully with this information somebody can do more than I can.

For reference, I am using a M2 Mac Air 2022.
