Starcraft 2 Crashing immediately after Authentication

Error Code: 0054D50B-2457-4612-8E63-45C595358ED3

I have looked at all similar solutions and nothing has worked.

  1. Scan and Repair
  2. Uninstalled One Drive
  3. Reinstalled game
  4. Disabled all startup items on PC
  5. Reset In game Options
  6. Handful of other similar things.

Nothing has worked so far. It had originally crashed as soon as I clicked ‘Play game’ but I had gotten past that point. Now, the game loads then after the Authentication step completes (or is still processing, I guess i don’t really have a way of knowing if it finishes), the game crashes with the error code 0054D50B-2457-4612-8E63-45C595358ED3.

Hey RefuseFate,

If OneDrive was syncing folders, uninstalling it won’t correct the issue. The Starcraft II folder (in the documents folder) must be unsynced.

I think I figured it out. After uninstalling OneDrive, I delete the Starcraft 2 folder from the Documents. Restarting Starcraft 2 worked.

That will work as well as long as there is nothing important saved in those folders.
