When I get to the ending cutscene during the Rendezvous mission in Heart of the Swarm, my computer completely crashes with a black screen and I end up having to restart my computer. This has happened to me twice in a row, in the exact same spot during this mission.
I have an AMD Ryzen 9 3950 CPU with a NVIDIA GeForce 2080 Ti graphics card, so my system more than meets the requirements for Starcraft 2. Please help.
do you have msi afterburner? if you do, turn it as it causes issues. if you have OneDrive you should turn that off as well. your hardware should be compatible, unless you run out of memory. that could be your problem if you do not have enough. you never told me however so i do not know how much memory it is you have.
Hey, snowfi6916! Would you happen to have the 445.75 drivers from Nvidia? If so, its been causing issues with DirectX11, Nvidia pushed out a hotfix driver to fix this issue.
We’ve seen it cause TDR (Timeout Detection and Recovery) behavior and even may cause similar to blackscreen concerns. If it continues with the hotfix drivers, let’s gather a DxDiag file. Copy and paste the text file created and paste it between two ~~~ like so:
