Should 1 Roach beat 1 Immortal?

And yet still somehow losses to a unit that costs less. Cry all you want about how amazing their advantages are. The bottom line is that they aren’t good. Any advantage you list ultimately adds up to zero.

FORTY. MORE. SUPPLY.

Which part of “free units” is confusing to you, dude?

The unit it loses to is designed to specifically counter units like it.

Forty more supply yet a thousand times as cost efficient. Next!

This is going to be one of those threads where you fail basic math isn’t it Mr 3 is bigger than 9?

Yes, clearly, we can tell for all those times that a Mech Terran has won GSL tournaments.

Name me ONE Mech Terran that’s won a GSL tournament, spaz. ONE.

The current Thor has only existed for a month, sweetie. Don’t you think it’s a tad unrealistic to expect it to have won Code S already?

Why do you call people that like some middle aged woman?.

You of all people shouldn’t be saying that.

Get this, spud. I agree with you that the Thor is busted right now… But I’m still waiting for you to name ONE Mech Terran that’s won ANY serious tournament. Name ONE.

Sweetie is an appropriate term to use to refer to a 10 year old.

I’m Gen X, you spaz. And I don’t need my two degrees, including a graduate degree that required me to study graduate level statistics to understand that when Zerg are winning 95% of the tournaments that there’s something busted with Zerg.

How about Code S? Do your research before making challenges.

But it’s not, it’s less powerful per shot than it used to be and has less upgrade scaling.

Zergs are just not used to losing after they get Broodlords out or used to units being able to counter broodlords.

That is a very specific age isn’t it?

It’s too fast. I’ll grant the point that it’s more balanced that most of Zerg (like 2 supply Corruptors and 2 supply that gives FREE capital ships Infestors), but it’s busted. It was fine when it was slow and lumbering.

Blizz is trying to buff (break) the Thor so they don’t have to tick off their Zerg snowflakes. Thor is supposed to be a slow artillery piece. They’ve made it… something else…

Are you… special? Code S was won by Rogue. 4-0 over Trap… KeeN got shut out by Trap. Maru won 3-1 over RagnaroK, but you’re a special kind of special if you think RagnaroK is in the same league as Maru. Maru then got 4-1’d by Trap. TY lost 3-2 to Dark.

What freaking Mech Terran are you talking about? Are you trying to claim that Maru or TY are Mech Terrans…? And they didn’t even win. Dude. What drugs are you on??

Against thors. Which was the whole point of this thread.

You’re basically saying zerglings can’t beat archons. Or carriers can’t beat marines.

You’re right. Doesn’t matter how hard you micro, archons are going to be infinitely more cost effective against lings. You’d need like 30 lings to kill 3 archons, just like how you’d need like 5 broodlords to kill 2 thors.

How about the “beats nearly every ground unit that isn’t a thor” advantage? This one unit loses to its counter? Must be a garbage unit, huh. What’s the Thor good for? Killing massive air units. Pretty mediocre at everything else. So why is it a bad thing that it’s good at it’s only real job?

It’s not, compare the damage and fire rate to it’s ground attack.

It was awful and made Thors feel like crap.

That was only true during the early stages of SC2 where you could build them on the field and when they were the Odin.

Thors have moved away from that design over the years because the design sucks overall.

They are going more in a “Big Golaith” direction since the Thor(besides the Viking) was the replacement of the Goliath in the first place.

Zergs are entitled and used to winning when they get Broodlords out or when they get both Infestors and Broodlords out.

Simple as that.
