Server problems?

So I just ran WinMTR to host the sc2 us central server

it came back no response from host happens 22 times after the connection to blizzard, it also happens 3 times after the blizzard connection when I run the test to the us west server

My main question is, is this the reason I keep being forced to surrender vs ai, or custom melee games vs ai because the game attempts to reconnect and never can?

EDIT: SC2 TraceRT us central - Pastebin.com - TraceRT to sc2 US central server,

Starcraft 2 MTR - Pastebin.com - WinMTR results to the same server

Hey grimsrevenge,

The “no response from host” isn’t anything to be worried about on connection tests like this. It is completely normal for that to show up on certain nodes when looking at a traceroute or WinMTR. This just means that particular router is configured to not respond to connection tests for security reasons, but your actual game connection would be getting through just fine.

The traceroute and WinMTR results you have posted don’t appear to show any issues that would be causing you to disconnect. Though if you are randomly getting forced to surrender versus AI this could definitely indicate there’s a connection problem occurring somewhere.

If you haven’t already I would try power cycling your network equipment at home, and then in Windows try resetting the network settings before testing the game again.

Reset the network configuration in Windows 10:
Go to Start → Settings → Network & Internet → Network reset
Proceed with the prompts and restart the computer.

Give those a shot and see how it goes.
