Sc2 is a terribly balanced game

It’s pretty sad honestly. This game could have been great! It had the potential, following up on one of the pioneer of the RTS genre (brood war was also plagued by op Protoss but top players could make it work). But saddly, Protoss got buffed (while they were already overperforming relatively to how insanely lower the skill of their top player was) and now the game is unplayable at all levels. In 700-ish games this season, 496 Protoss at master 2 elo. In tournaments, Protoss make up for 75% of the brackets. Zerg players switching to Protoss to avoid the impossible ZvP. Disgusting. All signs are HEAVILY showing Protoss being much easier. And yet here we are, not having any nerfs to Protoss. They really abandoned this game. Or they would have done something by now.

Legacy of the void coudnt be a more fitting name.

And yet a Terran easily wins dreamhack and another Terran could have easily won gsl if he would have been able to defend simple roach pushes.

This is the point that this disgusting whiner indicts himself.
This worm in human form oozes pure unadulterated hate for Protoss. He is not ashamed to state that the final goal of Blizz should be to…nerff a race that this rodent hates with passion.

Psychiatric Status

Sixty-two stalkers had an axis I diagnosis. Forty-three had delusional disorders, 20 of which were of the erotomanic type; five morbid jealousy; three persecutory and 15 morbid infatuations categorized as unspecified. Fourteen had schizophrenia, five of whom had erotomanic delusions; two had bipolar disorder; two, major depression; and one, anxiety disorder. The primary diagnosis was personality disorder in 74 men, with the majority falling into cluster B. Comorbid substance-related disorders were noted in 36 (25%) of the stalkers. There were 59 stalkers with psychosis (delusional disorders, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder).

It’s balanced at pro / gm level.

I’m not sure it’s balanced from masters on down necessarily. But Blizzard (who I’m not necessarily a fan of these days) is right to focus the most on the people whose livelihoods will be affected by the game’s balance .

Protoss undoubtedly OP. Gunfubanda taking games off of Clem is laughable xD

It’s not even close to balanced at the highest level. GunfuBanda took games off of Clem. Such a disgrace

Also the most nerfed race in the history of BOTH games.
Protoss has always been the race hit with the nerf bat, the most. Mostly because of Terran whining.

Protoss is REKNOWN to be broken in brood war. Literally everyone and their mother knows that. And it’s pretty close to this in sc2. I’m 99% sure if we were to do a poll, 66% of the player base would vote for Protoss to be the most broken easy race.

Yes, yes…
The big, bad floating pyramid men that haunt your dreams, are the worst case of OP ever.

Meanwhile in reality:
Protoss win the least amount of tournaments.

Because Flash, Light, Jaedong, Queen are absolutely disgustingly better than any of the top Protoss to ever touch that game. If flash was Protoss, he would have won 95% of the tournaments.

Just watch artosis, he often shows on stream how ridiculous Protoss is. That’s why he switched to Protoss in sc2, he wanted to be on the easy side this time (and he was)

These people play for money. If Protoss was so advantaged, they would ALL SWITCH TO PROTOSS, as not doing so, would mean choosing career suicide.

The fact that the majority of people that make money, do not play Protoss, indicates that Protoss is weaker, not stronger, than the other 2 races.

I know this might be a foreign concept to you people but… have you ever heard of honor ? Of decency ? It’s the same for Maru, TY, Clem and others. They have
S E L F R E S P E C T
They’re not monkeys, dancing for money

These concepts have nothing to do with competitive gaming as a business model.

Like it or not, if Protoss was advantaged, all the people that have their livelihoods dependent on the game, would have switched to Protoss, because it would give them the best shot at earning cash prizes.

Because this does not happen, one can immediately deduce that Protoss are not advantaged, and are, in fact, disadvantaged in a competitive setting, where money is on the table.

I know economics and logic are not skills you need for MMM, but you should try to develop them, for the Real World, at least.

Neeb and Classic say HELLO!

Remove flash, Jaedong, Light and queen and Protoss has won way more. Only 0.001% of the player base being able to fight as equal == balance, nice logic there

Wow such protoss dominance there.

Conclusion: If you want to win the most money on average go play zerg. If you want to be in the middle play protoss. Do you want to whine instead of going full pro go terran (and still earn decently…very close to protoss)

EDIT: You can check the average earning per race per year at liquipedia net/starcraft2/Winnings/2019
And in most cases a certain swarmy race is leading

That’s what happens when you have a sea of kong Protoss. Last 6 IEM finals have all been ZvP and yet Protoss always chokes. That’s exactly what Batman was referencing! I however was giving examples of players that have switched races and have DOMINATED. Neeb goes from your ladder hero terran that does average at best in tournaments to earning half a million!
