Just wanted to add my findings in case anyone was having similar troubles. I’ve had issues where, while playing cutscene content, my GPU would start to drop video entirely and the fans would max as if the unit was overheating. I found that if you disable Indirect Shadows in the graphics menu, the game seemed to no longer hard crash the GPU in cutscenes.
It could be related to my GPU exclusively, I’m running an MSI NVIDIA GA102 Ventus 3X Plus 10G OC LHR RTX 3080. I have no way of knowing that for sure. Hopefully this can help people running into the same problem.
