Have recently installed SCII client on my Windows 10 home edition machine. When starting a new campaign both manual Save and Autosave fail to actually write any save states to disk. In load game menu, no save states are visible. Have tried:
deleting /Documents/Starcraft 2/ directory. Directory gets re-created when I re-launch the client, so the application clearly does have write access at least to that directory.
was getting “Save Failed” notification in game and unable to create any folders using the Save game menu. Tried running Starcraft II as Administrator and now get “Save Successful” notifications. However, no save states can be found in the Load Menu. Autosave is also unsuccessful and I cannot save progress in any campaigns.
Starcraft II is installed in the default directory. I really don’t understand what is going wrong here. I really just want to replay the campaigns but I can’t unless this gets fixed.
