Recent Topics - A Summary

As there is no way to pin topics from regular posters, I thought it might make it slightly easier for the team/anyone to get a quick glimpse on what’s going on recently on the forum. Obviously, if you have been active, many of these would be redundant information. Some links included for those wanting to dive in further.


This is not an exhaustive list. No order of importance.
Summary is purely based on my own reading and understanding.


Subject Summary
Alarak’s ADHD So it’s not really called that but he’s still bugging like crazy. You can manually reset him but not ideal. Some suggestions regarding further changes made. Alarak Changes Wish List

Battlecarrier Lords Cost and time issues remain, please decrease by 25-50 across the tech tree. Latest discussion on Stetamato cooldown time. Battlecarrier Lords are expensive
Blaze & Nikara The debate continues with mostly Nikara, meanwhile Blaze’s lackluster presence is unanimously agreed. Tychus Feedback
Stetlag Much improved from initial release, still a problem. Mecha Infestor and Mecha Ling/Hydra remain major culprits. Balance regarding Mecha Infestor remains unclear. Stetlag Feedback
New Compositions The community seem to fall on a spectrum from little impact to none. Overall, this change appears to be well received. Thoughts on Patch 4.9.2 Changes
Ascension The general consensus remains that this system, like mutations and bounties, remain as is. Powercreep is greatly not welcomed. Ascension Proposal - Cooperative Benefit
Maps Discussions CoD remain on the unpopular side with many suggested improvement. SoA in contrast is a shiny example of map done correctly. DoN bonus quicker spawn discussion. CoA 2nd wave being slightly more difficult than others. Too many relavant topics to link here.
Zeratul Changes Surprising debate regarding this commander. Major points seem to fall on Cannon-spam build with comparison made to recent Stukov’s Infested Bunker change. The Zeratul Changes I would like to see
Mutator Ideas Many cool ideas in here. New Mutator Ideas

Hmmm, the preview and the final format seem to have issues. Sorry about that, if any forum guru has tips that’d be cool. (ie. how to make the subject portion not break up like that lol).

lol “unanimously”. dude this is a very biased summary…tychus certainly does not need any buffs, he is already the most played commander due to being so overpowered. also not mentioning his medivac platforms which desperately require balancing.

The problem isn’t with Tychus as a whole, it’s the role of Nikara, and how bad Blaze is in specific. Blaze has had little to no use since Tychus was released, whereas Nikara at least has a niche in some Brutations.

No one is arguing that Tychus is weak and in need of buffs, people are merely pointing out that two of his eight outlaws are weak. Now, the solution is fairly simple: “don’t use those two”, and that’s exactly the solution most Tychus players have hit upon. However, you can’t deny that’s an unsatisfying solution, I’m sure a fair amount of work went into each of the outlaws and relegating a full 25% of them to permanent benchwarmer duty seems a waste.
