Also worth mentioning that the EMP Blast bug fix went live 18-Feb, not today. It was either missed from the patch notes back then, or was released accidentally.
I… was… kind of expecting a big change list with lots of fun things (MENGSK BLIMPS ARE INVISIBLE AND FASTER AND HAVE A NEW MECHANIC ON TOP OF THE TERRIBLY CLUNKY PROPAGANDA MODE, MAYBE THEY REPAIR UNITS IF LOADED WITH LABORERS OH GOD PLEASE)…
I sure wasnt expecting anything either! I mean its been 4 months right? That is plenty of time to cook something… but then again, Blizzard was affected from Covid 19 and they are working on other projects like Wow and new WOW series SHADOWLANDS etc.
BUT THEN AGAIN… Starcraft 2 Coop teams are separate, are able to work at home, and Blizzard is not financially deficent so they can FUND coop teams to cook something… am I in the ball park here?
I think Blizzard tries to announce Commanders during big events. With none happening now due to Covid, I’m anticipating a commander as part of the 10th anniversary event.
I just don’t understand… adding another effect on to commander or unit is difficult to implement but what is so hard about fixing a bug or buffing and nerfing unit values?
All they had to do, was tweaking the numeral value in commanders and enable/disable target options. It is really simple to do even for a editor beginner like me.
For balance, teams can quickly show the result through dropbox or google chatting.
Blizzard had almost 4 months and they did as minimal adjustments as possible. Even we have 10th anniversary to look forward to this is inexcusable.
So basically, other than fixing Brutal + bug and adding weekly mutations, Co-op Fix didn’t fix anything?
