Patch notes 4.12.0

What bug? The hologram flying away?

Looks like the patch was not deployed to all regions simultaneously.

Asia is still on 4.11.4.78285, and still has the Train of the Dead mutation on OE.
US and EU on 4.12.0.79998, has the Operation Cooperation on LnL.

If you switch regions in-game, you get a prompt “Game client version mismatched with selected region.”

Harmful = bug. Useful = feature.

Yeah, super annoying because accidentaly A-clicking hologram means your units kill the Witness.

No. It’s a bug and you are bug user.

No, its a feature.
Is it bad?

It’s called an exploit, not that it matters what you prefer to call it. It should be fixed and they fixed it. A feature would be an intended design. Given that this exploit isn’t possible for other Brutal+, it is more likely an oversight.

That said, is it that big of a deal? Not at all, feels more overly uptight than anything. So no need to start calling names there Chick.

They fixed an exploit that at most gives sub-90-mastery players a small edge. But an edge to what? To a poorly thought out weekly mutation that requires way too specific ways to win (considering the inexperienced player?).

Now that’s the silly part. Rather than spending time fixing any number of the bugs from this forum, that one somehow made it to the top of the list AND was featured in 1 of 2 lines in the patch notes. Optics on point :+1:

It’s a bug and it was fixed. No problem with that. But sure when someone get mutation complete acknowledged for not really completing it is very good and is intended.

Coop has evolved for a long long time. There were plenty of exploits back in the day, but I guess you’d known that if you played and wouldn’t be here debating about this stupid merit.

Nobody said they shouldn’t be fixed, just that you don’t need to be a total-D about it. Learn to read be a little nicer, and maybe, just maybe have some understanding for your fellow peers.

Just because someone disagrees with you, it doesn’t make them your enemy. Or have your parents never taught you any manners?

Don’t point me what I need to do, it’s disrespectful, didn’t your parents not taught you about it?

I didn’t do that either. Your overly aggressive attitude is your business.

Chickenator, don’t be passive aggressive.
I agree it was a bug (due to being unintentional for programmers) but you gotta admit it was useful about it hahah.

Come on, FearrWhalins that was two steps too far.

Eh, he’ll come around. you’ll see

Fair. He’s just always so mean about everything. I’ll stop.

You are no judge here. And you keep telling people what to do in that forum. Very lucky troll here.

I don’t think that’s how it works.

  1. Intended = feature, not intended = bug
  2. Regardless, I consider the Brutal+1 “thing” harmful, as because of that I end up playing a game that I didn’t want to (different mutators) because my partner decided to cheat, or was not paying attention when switching from “regular” Brutal+1 to mutation.
  3. also, if there was a possibility that let’s say triple click on your Nexus caused instant win of the scenario, you would call it a feature, not a bug, because you can (ab)use it?
  1. Good things that are unintended are still good.
  2. How is playing the game equals cheating?
And why should I play the game I didn’t want to (different mutators) because of you or anybody else?
  3. Are you really trying to say thar completing +1 mission is somehow similar to triple click on your building?
But anyways, having options is useful.
  1. yes, but I stick to my opinion, that it was not a good thing.
  2. How is playing the game while abusing bugs to get more experience or bounties than intended NOT cheating?

You want to play Brutal+ → you queue Brutal+
You want to play weekly mutation on brutal → you queue for that
You want to play Brutal+, but get the rewards as if you played weekly brutation → you are cheating

You shouldn’t. That’s why it’s good that this bug was fixed. And if you are trying to say that I should just quit when paired with someone doing Brutal+ on weekly mutation, then I don’t want to do that either.

Lmao, y’all need to chill. Learn about :tomato: farming then come debate about how useless this fix was in the grander scheme. Smh.

You’re right  there should be no reward for just clearing your expansion.
But since it never happened to me, that someone just did that and quit, I don’t really care.
But It happened to me a few times that I got Brutal+ after queuing for brutation and it did bother me, as I did not want to play that, nor did I want to just leave.

Bruh, cheating is when someone use 3rd party software, somehow changes variables in game process or something like that.
Playing the game as it was created by developers is not cheating in any way. Just because somebody doing something you don’t like doesn’t mean they are cheating.

Meanwhile, actual bugs like Karax chrono are still in the game.

…Blizzard!!!
