Nvidia Quadro T1000

Hi,

According to this: StarCraft II Supported Video Cards - Blizzard Support

The Nvidia Quadro T1000 seems not to be on the supported video card list.

So does this mean that a host equipped with this card will not run the game at all?

Thank you!

I think it should work.
I could not compare it to the lowest nvidia supported (7600 GT), but I think it should be more recent and more powerful, and thus work.
But if you’re using this information to decide whether you buy a new pc with that card or not, you’d better wait/look for more information than this.

Thanks for your reply!

The most I have got is that Quadros get poor performance when it comes to gaming. But I don’t play more “modern” games so I don’t really care about crazy graphics. Also, the 10th gen i7 that the machine I am looking at should be good.

The only thing is that the Quadros are not in the “supported” list…but hey, if it plays the game on Medium settings it is OK for me.

Let’s see if more people can chime in on this.

Hey bakalis,

Nvidia Quadro cards are indeed not supported for Starcraft II. This does not mean that the game won’t run on these cards, it just means that we can’t guarantee you won’t run into performance issues or graphical bugs.

Our QA team does not test the game on Quadro cards, so you may not get acceptable performance or you may see things not render correctly. I’m not saying that you WILL for sure see these problems, only that it’s possible.

Additionally, the Quadro line of cards do not get regular driver updates like the Nvidia Geforce cards do. So you could run into issues with a driver bug that won’t be resolved as quickly as if you had a supported Geforce card.

Most modern Quadro cards will probably run the game, they’re just not designed for gaming. If you can find a comparable machine that has a Geforce card instead, I’d recommend going with that.
