No sound in Starcraft II on a Mac M2 Pro mini (OS 15.4.1)

I allowed Battle.net to update SCII per usual, but upon starting the game, there is no sound. Any other app, including Diablo III within Battle.net has sound, regardless of output. The only way I can apparently get sound in this game is by using AirPods. The Mac mini speaker won’t produce sound in the game, a wired set of speakers won’t produce sound in the game, and using the bluetooth capability in the same speakers will not produce sound in SCII. Only AirPods. Is this a known problem, or is there something I need to do to enable sound for this one particular game?

doesnt seem to be a known problem, sounds like something on your end. Im not sure how mac os works but i know in windows you can go into the setting and change the audio output device on most games and set it to a certain audio through that, but as for ingame in the sound setting just make sure you have it set for the correct device you want to use. This might just be a mac m2 problem as those specific machines seem to always have problems with this game in some form or another.
