I meant a distinction between professional and amateur. A distinction between those who know balance better than any causal player, regardless of their vaunted ladder rank.
Here’s a great example of why the community isn’t an effective source of balance: consensus. For every positive opinion of Bliz’s balancing job, there’s an opposing negative opinion. (TerranicII summed it up nicely below.)
Bliz’s internal metrics were not the only part in the process; pro feedback was constantly factored into the decisions.
Let us never forget the experiment the Bliz devs conducted 10ish years ago to see how trustworthy the community could be in making balance decisions, and the disasterous results. Luckily, Bliz as smart enough to use something innocuous and easily reversible as their dry run for community directed development.
First, I’m not a community leader. I’m a support MVP which has nothing to do with community or leadership of any Bliz games. Second, I have never made any claims about the merits, or lack thereof, of SC2’s balance decisions, ever.
It’s unfortunate that you feel the need to fabricate irrelevant misdirections, especially in your opening paragraph, in attempt to bolster your soapbox. Your points are much stronger when you don’t try to sully your opponent via strawman attempts or inaccurate/irrelevant generalizations.

I don’t care if you are community master chief, you are a member of the green militia that made the bnet forums unbearable to even come to. What are you supporting? Why are you even here? Did the last intern just forget to take away your login credentials?
It’s unfortunate that someone would find explanations/examples of reality nonsense, GhostHydra. What’s more unfortunate is that you blatantly exemplied my point about your propensity to dodge the subjects at hand.
But what’s most unfortunate is that all you see is color.

Dude you’re a green support on a dead forum for a nearly dead game. You didn’t even bother replying to anything I typed other than grandiloquent nonsense; so why would I respond to you?
Leviathan just ignore " GhostHydra" there is something seriously mentally wrong with him. I think the best you can do is recommend some kind of mental help for him to see at this point. None of his posts make any sense at all, & I think he is having a total mental break down. Poor guy is probably living in squalor & is really need of some help.

Yeah, you can click on his name and his profile appears. Then top right, above “View Profile” it says “Normal”. If you click on that you get the option to mute or ignore him.

Yeah, that quickly became apparent by their replies. My final reply was essentially to say farewell and cut them loose.

So it is possible that the outside Bliz programers make these changes!
So those some random programmers outside Blizzard could make my ideas come to real!

No one except blizzard has the source code. No one except blizzard can add any features. The only thing you can is change the current numbers, like units stats or use existent stuff. It is not possible.
As I said in the same reply you just quoted, it was all explained earlier in the thead. However, you kept persiting so I began to suspect trolling. Never the less, I explained it a 2nd time just in case you missed the 1st one.
But despite the 2nd explanation, looking at your recent replies, it reinforces my suspicion. It’s hard to believe that you are not trolling at this point.
If you don’t understand a point after it was explained to you multiple times, there are only a few possible explanations for your ignorance, and none of them make you look good.
Go back, and reread until you understand.
Hay dos anyone know what happened to the old forums? I was going to look up some old friends I play with back in 2012.
They don’t exist for many years already. Everyone was given a time to archive all messages from the old forum somewhere in 2019 (???). You can try to find these posts in wayback machine.
