I can't return SC2 campain collection

Today I bought campain collection for SC2, I can’t launch game, battle.net is unavalible… so affter about 2 hours of serching reading forums and reinstaling the game, I said “enough” and I want to return and here is suprise for me, I can’t return it, there is nothing to return… So whats going on? I tried to use customer support, but it can’t help with anything more complex then search formum. How do I do it? How I return faulty product that didn’t work?

PS. I played free version of SC2 for few hours, if it matters.

Contact your credit card provider and let them know what’s going on, they should be able to stop the transaction or provide you a ticket and you check your statement later for the refund.

the problem going on with the game is server side issue. there having problems. it has nothing to do with anything you did. and if you need to return things go directly to blizzard store in the browser and to your actual account. you should be able to do that there.

Like Winter mentioned above, there’s a current issue with connecting to the Americas region. It started a few days ago, so it’s not the norm.

If your just bought the game (within 14 days) it may be returnable. However, bundles that include extras, especially extras for other games, aren’t always refundable. But it doesn’t hurt to ask.

You mention there is nothing to return. Where are you seeing that?

Not the wisest idea. Seeing that is considered a chargeback, Bliz will lock your account until you pay the money back. And Bliz don’t make it easy to pay them back because you won’t be allowed to use a method that allows chargebacks again.

I passed this current issue onto Bliz a couple days ago. I’d just wait until they have a chance to investigate and resolve it.

I only suggested that, because OP stated he didn’t have a refund option. I personally would not want a charge on my credit card for a product that didn’t work, nor give me a option to refund.

To what end though? Losing their account until the pay that same money back?

Better advice this early on would be to suggest one waits a bit while it’s looked into.

shouldnt be penalized when ur games arnt working when people can still buy them.

Who’s being penalized? In the history of all online games, there’s been countless outages across all games and all studios. What would be the point of taking them all off the store each and every time there’s a temporary issue?

It’s not as if this issue as been going on for months. It just started this weekend. It doesn’t make sense to pull if off the store just because it’s been down for less than 48 hours, and will very likely be fixed.

Kind of jumping ahead, who are we to say this person wants to even come back to a blizzard product?

OP wanted his money back, I simply gave a suggestion to get his money back. heh.

I’m not saying they do or don’t.

I’m just providing what I can so that they can understand the process and its consequencs, so they can make an informed decision.

Your suggestion would be fine if you had included the warnings/consequences, so that someone who doesn’t know any better doesn’t possibly end up in a worse position than they already are.
