It blows me away that every game I’ve played on my new PC so far has been able to play at my native resolution of 2560x1080 even decade+ old games have had my resolution show up in my options. Imagine my surprise when coming back to SC2 only to have no resolution selection and the base drop down only going to 1920x1080 . . . what? Changing the script in the variable document folder didn’t work, someone said my Nvidia control panel could do it somehow. . Haven’t found anything online and the game looks pretty rubbish (even on max graphics) because it’s not at the native resolution. .
Any fix for this crazy blunder blizzard made

wierd, i can run in a much higher resolution on my geforce gtx 770m. what is your specs?
Hey, Kagarin! The resolution is a 21:9 aspect ratio. Starcraft II does not support ultrawide or 21:9 resolutions, which is why it’s only showing the 16:9 (1920x1080) option.
This is not something that we can support as it is not intended by the game, but hopefully, someone else might have found a workaround they can share with you here
For feedback on ultrawide displays, I suggest posting on the #general-discussion forums so that this can get into the folks who make the changes to the game. As technical support, we are not the developers. We help with technical issues that can be resolved through troubleshooting that is within our support.
Not intended
Thanks Caterpepi but I hope you see the bs behind that.
Played deadspace 1 last night that came out in 2008 and detected ultrawide resolution. Sounds like Blizzard was just lazy af
WC3 Reforged is able to be played 2560x1080 … so yeah… guess I’ll have to suffice with the game looking like crap

maybe you are right, maybe they have not done enough to improve the engine.
