Game wont open on main screen

I am playing on a laptop with two monitors connected witha docking station. My main monitor is set in windows display settings and is not the laptop screen. Whenever i launch the game, i get a black screen on my main monitor and the laptop screen. I can hear sound, but its just a black screen on both and the mouse freezes. trying to move the window with keyboard shortcuts does not work.

The game will open in windowed mode, but honestly, i dont want to play like that. I have an awesome huge main monitor, and i want to play on my main monitor. The game also runs fine when i just play on my laptop not docked.

Any ideas?

Can you plug one of the large monitors into the laptop directly and skip the docking station?

Sometimes docking stations will require you to install a separate display adapter that the graphics routes through to go from laptop -> dock -> monitor, and those can cause some weird issues with the game.
