Game doesn't start | refund questions

The game doesn’t start, the progress bar just keeps loading and the only fix that I have found is to disconnect from the internet to run the game. I refuse to jump through hoops just so I can play.

Since the issue has been going on for months (based on forum posts) and Blizzard refuses to fix this, can I refund this? I bought it 12 hours ago and played it for less than an hour. I requested one from customer support, but id like to know if its doable.

My specs:
cpu: ryzen 5 3600
gpu: rx 580
ram: 16gb ddr4
os: win10

Update: found a fix in the megathread. Since I can play it without waiting for half an hour, or disabling my internet, I cancelled my refund request. It would be better for the devs to fix this themselves though.
