another workaround for this is:
- go to the sound control panel
- navigate to the “recording” tab
- right-click your computer’s built-in mic (not your headset! or hands-free that
s in the name) - set your mic as the default device and the default communication device
- navigate to the “playback” tab, repeat steps 3 and 4.
and viola! you should automatically have sound that doesn’t have reverb, or if you don’t have sound, you’ll have sound when you go in SC2, the downside is that you can’t use your headset’s mic, however, you can set it in discord, or whatever app you’re using to talk to people.
