Headphones bluetooth sound is muted in starcraft

Hello, Blizzard really needs to make quick work of the ancient problem of bluetooth headsets etc being completely mute in starcraft. In 2013, i noticed a problem specific to starcraft when i started using bluetooth devices. it is now 23 hours and 40 minutes shy of 2020 and the problem still has not been fixed. in the meanwhile, i finished school, got a premanent job, a mortgage and bought a home, then found a girl to call my girlfriend, raised a cat, witnessed the release of heart of the swarm…

since how I see topic was created more then 1.5+ year ago and there is not any effect from SC team.

I always have to go into the sound system settings before and after play Starcraft in order to enable and disable ALL input devices. Otherwise I cannot hear any sound from my PC (e.g. any music player, system sounds etc.). What is this nonsense? This is the only game with this problem.

I am very unhappy with starting a conversation, for example on Skype, and suddenly discover that I forgot to turn on the input devices back after last play of Starcraft.

Can we ever expect someday a bugfix on this?

I honestly just do this:

another workaround for this is: go to the sound control panel navigate to the “recording” tab right-click your computer’s built-in mic (not your headset! or hands-free that s in the name) set your mic as the default device and the default communication device navigate to the “playback” tab, repeat steps 3 and 4. and viola! you should automatically have sound that doesn’t have reverb, or if you don’t have sound, you’ll have sound when you go in SC2, the downside is that you can’t use your he…
