I get that the game doesn’t want to provide an unfair advantage in the game. I would like to ask that I can at least make my game go full screen though without distorting the resolution. I don’t like playing games in a windowed mode and I have some fond memories of killing swarms of Zerg with my Terran cannons/snippers. I would like to be able to go back and relive some of those memories, but window mode is so icky. Perhaps they could black out the sides, if they don’t want monitors over a certain width. Though I imagine someone with a more standard dimension monitor that is just bigger, would have a greater advantage over one that is simply wider.
Changing your desktop resolution to the nearest 16:9 doesn’t work?
