That does not mean that “Terrans have less MMR [independent of other factors],” it means “There are a lot of bad players who coincidentally play Terran.”
You can tell they are from EU because the political correctness of their culture forces them to say things in a more polite but less truthful manner. In america we value truth over all else, and you can really see the culture clash in internet boards like this one. It’s a 1984 double-think to say “terrans aren’t inferior players” and “balance doesn’t disfavor terran” when as a matter of fact terrans dominate bronze league. These are mutually exclusive ideas. They can’t admit to what they think because it’s “mean” to say bronze terrans are bad at the game. This has been one of my biggest frustrations with online social interaction. I value truth over all else and they value ridiculous contorted logic to avoid admitting what is so obvious that anyone with eyes can see it. They don’t ask “is this true?”, they ask “Am I allowed to think this is true? (or will I get in trouble by offending someone)”. That’s how you end up with people being locked up in Britain for facebook posts.
You practically have to walk on egg shells if you want to socialize on the internet, and if you don’t, the internet’s moderation systems will be weaponized against you. It’s a very catty and vindictive and petty way to run the internet. A better way would be just to use the block feature. If some nut is posting offensive stuff then people can block him. Poof, problem solved. The problem is that they have to go a step farther and punish you for offending them. That’s how you know it’s not about catering content to what you like, it’s about punishing dissent.
The reason america’s system works so well is because the free flow of ideas is extremely beneficial to society. YouTube for example has revolutionized the world in countless ways. You can get a leaky pipe and look up similar scenarios on youtube to see how they fixed it. In the past you’re entirely on your own unless you want to hire a plumber and they get ready for a $900 bill. In the EU system the plumber goes through your post history and reports you to the cops if you publish a video he doesn’t like / that cuts into his profit margins. That’s the system they are creating over there because they can’t tolerate ideas they don’t like and have to punish people who go against the grain. These systems always start out well-intentioned but they always end up being abused by the system for political and financial gain, not to mention how it puts the brakes on the free flow of ideas because there is risk in sharing ideas. If you only make $100 bucks in ad revenue on a video but you might go to jail then of course nobody is going to make videos. That’s common sense.
You can see this happen with Jordan Peterson. Whether you like him or hate him we can agree on how the Canadian system reacts to JP’s use of social media compared to the US. In Canada it’s “we’re going to take away your license because we don’t like your tweets” and in the US it’s “if you don’t like his tweets then don’t read his tweets.” They’ll threaten a man’s career over tweets. Literally.
Western Countries are abandoning western values. We’re seeing it happen in real time even in places like the bnet forums. Truth and free speech just aren’t a top priority in a society were people get to play “pontius pilate” with their feelings. Soviet Russia wasn’t built in a day, it evolved out of a similar scenario to what we are witnessing in places like Canada right now. The US is in a NATO treaty with countries that don’t share our values. It makes no sense at all. The NATO alliance has become a quasi bolshevik state just like soviet russia was way back when.
TLDR: Eastern European bolsheviks like Lenin are the reason for why people on bnet can’t admit bronze terrans are bad.

I have. Bronze Players and silver Players belong where they are because they dont Put the Work in. Those leagues consist of overwhelmingly terran. Because of those leagues the average mmr or terran gets dragged down. This is Proof. You can See that this is Proof because the top50% are Equal in mmr anyway because all races have roughly 33% mmr anyway. The only outstanding Part is that silver and bronze is 50$ terran. To say that the average terran does something wrong would be generalization and is frowned upon. The lower league terrans should get some more work done in order to advance. Thats all.
Anectodical: As is said i have recently coached a complete newbie from 1900 mmr to 2400 mmr in 1 session that lasted 1 or 2 hours. Getting from bronze to gold can be done in a blink of an eye.
after getting placed at 4.3k i played 6 matches. won 3, lost 3. Now im sitting at 4.6k mmr and my nephest profile changed from being protoss main to being terran main.
I suspect my 6 matches after placements are not sufficient? I can keep going if you want.
