Shh, Zeratul is a BAD COMMANDER now that they made the cannons cost 50 minerals more, and made Zeratul’s hero way stronger. I mean, cannons got nerfed and we should never play him again no matter how much easier it would be to just keep using his cannons.
Completely agree. Here’s a follow up.
Shorty after my little test, I was placed on hold for 36 hours.
- As usual, it does not indicate what was done wrong (no reference to what’s being flagged),
- or which violation specifically was deemed to warrant account hold (a blanket Code of Conduct violation),
- or any possible way to appeal (as the ticket submission is by design to not deal with Forum issues at all).
The exact same experience as what’s reported by commenters previously. This kind of restriction does nothing to correct behaviour, as in this case I have no idea which of my 20+ posts was the issue. If I assume the flag was the issue then it shows that a simple test of this sort could get your account on hold, thus preventing anyone from forever losing Trust Level 3. Lastly, the arbitrary nature of the length is also left unexplained.
Overall, the test is exactly as I expected. The moderators seem to either:
- Be mostly absentee to take context into consider, as they should be.
- Extremely vain regarding any negative comments towards the forum as a whole and by association to the staff.
I wouldn’t even be surprised this post gets removed shortly and me back to the time out box again (or forever lmao). Oh well.
I think ppl avoid voting for Zeratul coz he’s “OP”. I don’t have Nova so for this one I’d obviously pick Zera over Nova. But not needing a separate detector unit and being able to kill mines/units from a distance does go in Nova’s favour - for this week and the next.
However, once you’re in an area with mines, Nova can “hold position” and snipe them before proceeding, while you go do something else (macro). With Zera you’d need to be a bit more careful to micro him and make sure he doesn’t charge into higher priority enemy units until the mines are cleared. Hence, I’d prefer having some canons to shade in even if I went for army build.
Check if you got an email along with the notification. In my case, the email included the text of the offending post. Your post was deleted.

Did you mean preventing anyone from getting Trust Level 3?
No, no email at all. And the ticket submission (if you actually gone through it) is very barrier-heavy. It’ll suggest everything else before you can finally send an actual ticket.
And part of level 3 is never get too many flags and have been put on hold (confirmed flags). And you’ll lose your Level 3 (I had it before but lost it after my first hold, this is 2nd).
My main point is that the system is not moderated properly. And the rectify process is non-existent. Even if a ticket is sent, it’ll take days before they reply (anyone who sent a ticket in would know). By then, your hold is over and problem took its course without remedy.
Just pointing out how poor communication is multi faceted in this regard. We did a simple test and the system (with or without a person to moderate) took to punish for no reason, then proceeds to provide no reason. Just sad and funny lol.
I think Nova is okay commander and the fact, that the hero is also detector is just so big thing.
I just played with awful Zeratul (who opened with 4 gateways, to build total 8 stalkers during the whole game, then built 4 robotics, with first observers at 13 minute, lost 1 minute later to a spore crawler, also never shaded any canon), which just illustrates that for many people just the need to have to babysit (or even build) separate detector is too difficult.
Although I once played with Nova player who insisted on me following his Nova with an Overseen (and stop being “all army noob” or something - that was around 4:30 so I didn’t even have any army to select, except my own hero and the 1 Overseer I made for her) as he insisted Nova cannot have detection in Assault mode …
Anyway, this mutation is very easy, with AOE you can most likely even finish the mission without any detection, so many approaches work, but I can understand why Nova would be attractive.
Regarding her limitation with this mutation … is her detection reduced (to 5.2), even when vision is provided by other units?
