Co-Op Mutation #216: Operation Cooperation

Strange void energy spawns enemies attuned to your weapons systems. Half of all enemies are invulnerable to your forces. This includes the fearsome propagators, so cover each other’s backs!

Polarity - Each enemy unit is immune to either your units or your ally’s units.
Propagators - Reality warping sludges are crawling towards you. Anything they touch is turned into a copy of the sludge.

Notes:

  • Half of every single attack wave and every base is immune to you or your ally. This means you cannot split between separate attack waves; both need to attack the same location simultaneously.
  • Enemies with the red shield are immune to your attacks. Another way to figure out which units are yours before engaging is to mouse over the enemy unit:
        [Yellow circle] is ally’s target
        [Red circle] is your target
  • Immobilization Wave, Time Stop, and other movement/attack restricting spells still work on enemy units immune to you, but they deal 0 damage.
  • You can manually target the enemy units immune to you, but it will do 0 damage.
  • Propagators have 450 health, and transform any unit they touch into one of them, effectively killing the unit.
  • Propagators hit ground units, air units, heroic units, and buildings.
  • Propagators ignore the rocks.
  • Objects that turn into the propagator have the exact same HP as the propagator that infected it; so a 1-HP Propagator can only make more 1-HP Propagators.
  • Spider mines, toxic nests, and banelings can connect with the poopagator before it poopagates them.
  • Crooked Sam’s Detonation Charge, Abathur’s Disabling Cloud, and Vorazun’s stuff can all prevent poopagators from poopagating.

Anyone manage to beat this one? Third try and still going lol.

This one will be an absolute pain on random queue. With an ally who works with you I don’t think it’s any harder than #208 Aggressive Recruitment.

Edit: Unlike Malwarfare you can fast clear this, which will really help.

Yet another great example of the mutation system. Either you and your partner knows how to finish it and will close it up quickly. Or you don’t and become a “shapeless, formless shadow”.

Join the dark side

Of course the one time when I don’t immediately do the weekly brutation to approach my 150th brutation win they change it after one day, thank you very much Blizzard. And not only that, no, you replace the previous one (ezpz i have to admit but i was looking forward to playing it again…) with this abomination, just wow. Random queue always pointless when having Polarity as a mutator, but along with POOPIES? No, no thank you, NO. Not going to play it to maaaaaybe complete it after 50 tries while totally having lost my mind. This is just the worst what the heck were they thinking. This ain’t a challenge, it’s just a HUGE slap into anyone’s face who was looking forward to playing their weekly mutation. Also no new content on the horizon? I guess this is it for us boys, RIP coop.

Logged in to do the trains, thinking it’d be a good opportunity to level a friend up. But it’s this nonsense instead. Number one rule, I don’t play with poop

Smelly fingers :point_left:

So the pillar at the center of the lock, aka “the lock”, is not considered a structure?

Oh, is the lock a neutral structure? Suppression towers are enemy structures, and poops spawn from enemy structs.

Oh2, you said fast clear, not full clear. That helps too, fast clear easier than full clear. And faster.

Assume this to be true every time they repeat Train of the Dead. They did that the last time it was repeated, too. Seems to be a “placeholder” mutation.

This! And the two mutators that make supply shared and/or restricted. Nothing worse than an Artanis ally endlessly creating dragoons and zealots while you’re constantly supply blocked.

I find Zagara the most reliable commander because how fast she is to clear out enemy base.

It was when I played as Artanis and my ally as Zagara. We cleared out the enemy base easily to reach the last two lockdown in the back.

Easier said than done. Both players need to pull back for each poop spawn, since poops can be polarised. And if the poop poops, then the newly pooped poop can be polarised to the other player.

This week mutation is all about luck I’m afraid…

You don’t have to pull back, just leave a kill squad and don’t f2.

Yes, was just thinking of that - specifically, how many DT’s were needed to kill them safely (shadow strike + normal attack + kite, repeat) , including while poops are disabled for 10 secs after Disruption Web.

I don’t F2 as much as I used to but still a lot more than I should, and one should almost never.

Yay, two of the worst mutators together. Sounds like fun, not.
Pls tell me that poopagators are also affected by polarity for maximum level of suffereing.
