Yeah, I’ve checked the timings and if the first prop spawns from the furthest base then you’ll have Nova out in time. I do agree about Raynor - spider mines + global scan are one of the best counters.
Props can’t reach units above the terminals, so that could be exploited. The same applies to some of the other ground-impassable terrain.
AFAIK, they’ll try to take the long way around (assuming the rocks to other entrances in DoN have been cleared), but they should just stall. I don’t recall they’ve gotten smarter since Sc1 where as Terran you wall with depots.
Good point about places the props can’t reach, greats for libs, but if nothing else also makes for nice positions to place observers and overseers to get a bit more map awareness
If there’s another way they should take the long way around as you said, but sadly they won’t stall if there’s no path, they will instead attack the barricade, it’s just that normally combat units and buildings will have much higher attack priority than shield batteries.
Still perhaps not a bad idea to wall of one of the approaches to make defence easier.
Propagators don’t attack anything with the MapBoss attribute. That means all friendly mission objectives (Aurana, the terrazine harvesting bots)… and Dehaka’s pack leaders because somehow they, too, have that tag.
I’ve done one brutation with a newer account level 46 artanis with a level 1 abather ally, with me killing 4 times more enemies than my ally did, and completed all objectives. In fact I played once on each server and all of them were successful.
You can solo this muta with any commander no joke, the map is one of the easiest mission to begin with.
Sure. But about half the posts in this thread are about next week’s mutation Aggressive Recruitment, on Malwarfare, and not Tax Day on Void Launch. I take partial responsibility for that but I blame Kilometer for starting it
