Tried CMD as administrator, ipconfig /release, /renew, /flushdns, restarted computer.
Still get the same error in every.single.game.mode.
This happened after the client update which I just finished downloading and was in perfect functioning order 2 days prior.
Anyone have any tips on how to fix this mess or is this a Blizzard issue?

This error may indicate that your local cache is corrupt. Try deleting the Starcraft II folder located in Documents and then launch the game again so it will recreate everything.
*If you have any replays you need to keep make sure to back those up before deleting the folder in Documents.
Same thing happening to me. Deleting cache did not help. Battlenet is being very sluggish and not loading any assets like portraits, etc. Can’t play at all right now.
I had opened a ticket, they said it’s something the devs are aware of and to report it in the bug section. They need more examples to see if it’s isolated or persistent. All that fun tech stuff.
Good news is it slowly came back for me with no user input required.
