I occasionally like to transport myself back in time to when Blizzard made good games, had flawless installers, excellent customer support, fully supported Mac OS and released all games on Mac OS and Windows etc… & fired up Starcraft 2 to play the campaign missions.
Cannot save campaign progress ‘Save Failed’, apparently it’s a permission issue however I have enabled read & write permissions on all starcraft 2 folders. The save game folders do not exist. Replay folders do not exist. Cannot make new folders within the game, nor view any folder hierarchies, they don’t exist. Seems like such an idiotic error and an simplistic oversight that would never happen with old Blizzard.
Anyone have any solutions before I just delete battle.net and my 25+ year old blizzard account completely?
the problem here is simply, buy yourself a real computer. Mac’s suck in every aspect. worst computers made. Even linux pcs and android comps run better than macs.
Reagrdless of how macs do with games, sc2 is supported on mac so you can get help for it instead of getting “yourself a real computer” as numbnuts suggests.
You might have to just do a tech support ticket so that you can get direct help from blizzard.
theres a reason why there are so many post about problems with macs in technical support. You may not like my answer but macs are the worst comps out there, thats a fact. You go to any computer tech guru on youtube they all say the same thing macs are the worst. sorry your rear end is hurt for stating facts.
