I want to get back a bit to playing starcraft 2 which I played last before 9 months or so but when I start the game I cant play anything except the campaign.
When I press on the ranked/unranked mode it says: Not available while initializing game mode. Also, I cant see my profile icon and similliar stuff.
I tried everything I could find on the internet to fix this problem but nothing worked. I reinstalled the game, deleted all the possible folders, restarted my router/connection, tried to run as administrator and so on…
Hey, DesertStorm! Welcome back! Sorry to hear about the issues you’ve been running into in the mean time. This error is usually a connection related error. Would you be able to try an alternative connection or VPN to test?
If this seems to work, could you include a WinMTR test? Run the test until the problem occurs for 10 to 15 minutes. Copy and paste the text file created and paste it between two ~~~ like so:

Hey, DesertStorm! Sorry for the delay in response. We can’t recommend VPN applications that could be used since it is a third party application. There are a lot of trial options or free VPNs available online to find one that might suit you best.
Hey. I wasnt able to find even a free VPN but I deleted the whole battle.net app with all the files and reinstalled the game on a different disk and now I can play the game. just wanted you to know!
