Can't play any gamemodes but campaign. Help!

As I wrote in the title, I cannot seem to play any gamemode but the campaign mode (sometimes). The other game modes are “not available while initializing”. But it never seems to initialize. I did tons of things I read in several forum posts but nothing seems to work.
For ex: -Reinstalling
-Opening ports
-Including SC2 as exception on anti virus and firewall.
-Other things I don’t even understand with CMD

Hey, LaMeraHostia! This is generally a sign of connection issues to the servers. An easy way to confirm and narrow the issue down to a connection issue is trying a different connection like a mobile hotspot.

We can examine connection tests to confirm for any clear connection issues as well. Could you gather WinMTR tests while attempting to connect to any other mode for 5-10 minutes?

Hello im having the same issue, tried to use my wifi didnt work, then conectec my pc to my samsung and still didnt work… running the WinMTR test…here are the exported logs

Howdy!

The WinMTR test doesn’t show a clear sign of packet loss or outstanding connection stability related issues. This error can still come from a partial block though.

I would recommend checking the following steps:
In some cases when you startup the game, it may take a few moments for it to fully connect to all services. I would also recommend just leaving the game at the loading screen for 15 minutes, see if these services show up. Most players report once they do the issue often goes away or is minimized on startups after that.

If the issue continues we would want to start more advanced troubleshooting:

  • Setup any Anti-Virus or Firewall software on the system to fully exclude Starcraft II from all scans, allow access freely.
  • Contact your Internet Service Provider, see if they can hard reset the modem/router and review the security settings. If set too high this issue may occur as part of the game is blocked.

Did this problem get fixed? I am having the same issue as the OP and cannot figure out how to fix it. Thanks for any help

[provided by IronManhood] Leave ALL chat rooms and see if that helps. The chat system seems to block the game from loading properly or something.
