Can't Log In to the game

Help? getting the same issue…

Same, clearing cache does not help either

Any update on this issue?

Looks like it’s still down on my end too. I’m in Australia so if there’s a fix in the future it seems it hasn’t happened yet, even for the down under!

Hopefully Blizz addresses this soon, I’ve been wanting to hit up some SCII lately :frowning:

Having the same issue in NM trying to hit the US Servers.

Tried a variety of old help forums with past similar issues and none seem to be the valid solution.

Returning player who has not played for a while and would like access to my account on the us servers.

My brother did, he can’t log in.
(Seems to be affecting those who are new or haven’t logged in for a while?)

So just reinstalled starcraft 2 after a long time and cannot log in to any of the available regions US, EU, KR. Not free player since I have purchased the campaings before the free to play change.

WOuld be nice to be able to play the game you have purchased

A lot of people who either installed SC2 yesterday or today for whatever reason have been unable to connect because of authentication issues. I find it also strange that people who purchased the game and are coming back to play the game again are primarily having this issue including myself.

Tried to play last night for first time in a while, could be a year or just multiple months can’t remember. Temporary outage orange message when authenticating. Let me play the god forsaken game offline at the very least I just wanted to dunk on some AI jesus this online connection requirement is the bane of every gamer’s existence.

No. I’ve had the game installed for ages and I even logged in 2 weeks ago. Still not working.

its something blizzard did on there end.

That appears to be a separate issue. The recent issue being reported is just with the NA (aka. US/AM) region.

If I could put my 2 cents to this, haveing the same issue since today(not palyed in a year), Iam from Eu and cant log in to EU nor NA, but I was able to play on Korean server, I never played on that . so apparently you are only able to play on a server you have never been before.

hey leviathin when you log in, what are you seeing on your end when you do.

got a reply back from tech support but I did all the methods stated and still no dice, posting it here to see if it helps and of y’all. Please tell me if it does, I’m currently redownloading the game in hopes that it works:

  1. Restart Your computer and Router/Modem: Sometimes, a simple restart of your networking equipment can resolve connection issues
  2. Check Firewall/Antivirus Settings: Make sure that your firewall or antivirus software isn’t blocking Blizzard’s games or services. You may need to add exceptions for Blizzard’s executables or ports
  3. Disable Background Applications: Close unnecessary background applications, as they might interfere with Battle.net Games. Check for any resource-intensive programs running in the background and close them before launching the game
  4. Flush your DNS cache and reset your network configuration. You can do this by opening the Command Prompt (on Windows) or Terminal (on macOS)
  5. Reinstall the Game: Uninstall the Game, restart your computer and reinstall the game. Corrupted installation files can lead to various issues, and a fresh installation might resolve the problem.
  6. Wired Connection: If you’re using a wireless connection, try switching to a wired connection by connecting your computer or console directly to your router using an Ethernet cable. This can help rule out potential wireless interference issues.

the prob is on blizz side, and the tech support is automated messages. this wont help you. its not on your side but blizzard server side, we cant do nothing about it, they have to fix the server.

Same here, I cannot log into SC2. I get the same temporary battle.net outage.
