Everytime I hit play the game loads goes to authentication and tells me there is a temporary battle.net outage. can launch every other blizzard game as well as chat on the launcher. is anyone else having this issue? or know of a solution?

I just tried logging into NA. It was a bit slow but I got in. Are people still not able to log in at all?
That’s normal. Profiles are separate between the regions.
I am still having the issue and tried everything including uninstalling the game and still can’t log into US region
Yeah, it’s odd. My brother and I are in the same household, yet my SC2 works and his has the outage message.
Just tried again on my end, issues are persisting. Lists a “temporary outage”.
there is no load time, fast or slow for me, just a failure. if its not impertinent to ask, what geographical region did you get in from? i want to shift my VPN to that region and see if it works, and report back.

attempted scan and repair of game files. Issue still unresolved (i figured, but it was worth an attempt)
PA, the co-op servers/chat are deader than usual.

I passed this along to Bliz.
Also having the issue in NA, but was able to connect to EU. Bliz is clearly taking this out on me for neglecting this game for a nearly a decade.
Same here from California. No PTR file for me. Changing client to Beta or reinstalling SC2 didn’t work for me.
I can change regions but I don’t want to make a new profile and play with the lag. I’ll wait for dev’s to get back to us
